A historic Roman trattoria that never disappoints. The first courses are excellent, although I'm not a fan of grilled guanciale, but that's just a personal preference. The staff are helpful and friendly.

I had lunch today with a friend. I'm celiac. I had the gluten-free cacio e pepe! I'd say it was epic! Pasta was al dente (which, believe me, is incredibly complicated to make gluten-free al dente) and it was really good! The prices were very fair! It's definitely worth it!

The Roman tripe was amazing, the Roman meatballs were also great, and the tiramisu for dessert melted in my mouth.

It was a culinary experience worthy of traditional Roman cuisine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they could recommend dishes without having to think about selling them. The restaurant sells everything itself, much like an ancient Roman tavern, complete with photos of famous guests. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, excellent trattoria with a good selection of dishes. The portions are generous and NOT lacking in personality. The chef 🧑🍳 is excellent and knows his stuff. The owner was in the dining room, very kind, humble, and friendly. I must say, I love cooking and cleanliness, I found this place very well-kept. My boyfriend and I ordered several dishes and they were all very satisfying. I recommend the amatriciana and the abbacchio to everyone 🤤. Thanks to all the staff at Scopettaro. TOP 🔝

Abbiamo cenato in questa osteria che offre piatti tipici romani. Di primo abbiamo preso carbonara, amatriciana, carciofi e guanciale e al sugo di coda, tutte buone ma con pasta oltre cottura. Di secondo pajata, abbacchio alla cacciatora, trippa e coratella, questi tutti buoni di maggior livello rispetto alla pasta. Vignarola buona, carciofo alla romana bocciato invece, senza sapore.
