Amazing stop for pilgrims on the Via Francigena. Oliver is wonderful and the food is buonissimo!

The owner is super sweet to pilgrims, I enjoyed staying here for a while for cafe and cookies.

We've been to Lo Scoiattolo several times over the past few years, both for Sunday lunch after a hike in the hills and for a summer dinner al fresco. We often return because the food is simple, the restaurant is rustic, and Oliviero is always smiling and ready to chat. The anolini are fantastic.

Recommended! We are 2 pilgrims on the Via Francigena to Rome. We looked on Google Maps and found Tratoria Lo Scoiattolo close to the route for a delicious Pranzo. Oliviera and his team are super friendly and very hospitable. We found the food to be of high quality. We enjoyed it. The Trattoria is neat and has many antiques to look at. Oliviera is not only cheerful but also has a lot of knowledge of the Via Francigena to share. Great lunch spot for 2 tired pilgrims!
