The valley itself is something spectacular, but when you get to the top and find this place, you wouldn't go back home! Excellent cuisine, fast service, and above all excellent wines, genepì and grappa!

We are now loyal customers and, whether it is summer or winter, we do not give up the fantastic dishes of Beppe, a brilliant chef and manager, who always offers carefully prepared and homemade food. From gnocchi with Bleu d'Aoste to polenta concia, from the simple tagliatelle with tomato to fusilli with venison ragù, unmissable then the cheek, the shin and the peposo (my husband's passion), you don't even need a knife, to accompany with baked potatoes. When he has time, and he doesn't have much because it is really always full, he prepares ice cream and cream that conclude this menu in a great way. It is essential to book! The typical Aosta Valley style inside completes the experience in this beautiful little place in Val di Rhemes

Suggestive and characteristic place with a fantastic view, the garden is very well kept and impressive with its waterfall, it has seats inside and outside, competent owner who puts you at ease. Truly delicious cream combined (in our case) with chestnuts.

A fairytale place where you feel at home! We went to Le Village de Thumel and we loved it. The location is like a postcard, it looks like a small fairytale village. Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We took a cheese board for one person but it was so abundant that we took half away! I ate the gnocchi with Bleu d'Aosta: delicious and creamy. My boyfriend had the cod with ratatouille: his dish was also really good. Excellent wine and really generous portions. In the end I wanted to try the cream (I had read about it in the reviews) and I confirm: it's worth it! The owner is very nice and ironic, he manages to make you smile even with his apparent seriousness. He really made a great impression on us. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well in a special place, surrounded by nature.

A more unique than rare experience in Val d'Aosta, eating as well as in this restaurant, especially for those looking for dishes other than the typical Aosta Valley ones. All very good. For those who love whipped cream, the advice is to try the one proposed here... without words. Everything delicious. Then, the landscape of Valgrisenche completes the experience making it unforgettable.
