We only stopped for drinks and coffee on the way back from the Rifugio Benevolo. The place is really very nice and welcoming.

I've been there twice in two weeks. I think it's one of the best places in the Aosta Valley. The staff is friendly and approachable. The Royale platter is truly exceptional. You're spoiled for choice when it comes to first courses, while the most popular second courses are the cheek and the shank, but the polenta is also excellent! And the desserts? All homemade, made by them with locally sourced ingredients (the whipped cream is top notch!) Definitely go. Reservations are highly recommended.

We loved it! The food, the atmosphere, and even the service. The menu is an attractive off-menu option. Excellent polenta with carbonada and a platter fit for someone who could have fed an army. Delicious bread, so much so that we took away the leftovers. Prices weren't cheap, but fairly average. Everything was really good. (Oh no, one thing we didn't like: the boss's constant complaining about someone else's work style. It might be that you're not happy with it, but you tell him that in private, not in front of everyone.)

We arrived late for lunch, but they still served us exquisite pasta. Everything was truly delicious. It's a very cozy cabin, the bathrooms are nice, the service is friendly, and best of all, Berta, the local dog, is a real delight and we played with her afterward. Thank you for serving us; it was a pleasure.
