As soon as we entered, we had some doubts about the restaurant's quality, but we later changed our minds. Upstairs, you enter an old apartment, with Arte Povera furniture, terracotta floors, and very tastefully decorated. The tables are spaced just right, and there's little noise, so you can talk comfortably. A family-run restaurant, very cheerful, friendly, and attentive to the customer's needs. A real competition between the tagliolini with truffle and the fritto misto, chicken, rabbit, and vegetables! The glass of house red wine was also good. The price was reasonable for the quality of the dishes.

I stopped at this restaurant while wandering around Lucca in the rain. I sat on the second floor. The rustic atmosphere (an old apartment, although the silkscreen of a furrier's shop still stands on the windows) is well-kept, warm, with wooden furniture and terracotta floors. The staff is very attentive to their guests' needs, and the service is prompt. I ordered the house red wine: excellent quality and sourced from Montecarlo di Lucca. The artichokes were superbly fried, and the tagliata was cooked to perfection. The spaghetti with duck ragù and leeks were delicious. Dessert could have been better: the crème brûlée was cold. I envied the tartare ordered by my neighbors. The price was fair. A lovely evening that made me forget the rain.

Classic Tuscan Osteria. The host and waiters are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lory, a special woman from another era. Traditional, excellent food. Good value. If you're in Lucca, you can't miss lunch here.

Wonderful food, the meatballs are something special. Very friendly staff and very fast service, even with a full house.

We had a wonderful meal at this authentic and comfortable little place. The service was extremely friendly and attentive; the bill was fair. The icing on the cake was the owner, who, seeing my curiosity, offered me a slice of their fig cake (delicious!!!). Highly recommended!
