The island that never was is there and it is good. The manager is kind and helpful and the specialties offered are excellent. The only regret is that we would like double portions. Must try

All very very good, Fast and kind service, in the center of Lucca but with fair prices. The steak and fried artichokes are excellent! Highly recommended!!!

Found by chance while walking. Mr. Roberto welcomed us with an old-fashioned kindness. We ate tripe, tagliatelle and fried artichokes. All very good. Paid the right amount. I think we'll be back again tonight.

A Lucca per i mercatini di Natale pranziamo in questo locale dove veniamo accolti con gentilezza assoluta. Fantastici i ravioli con ripieno di burrata al tartufo, la pappa al pomodoro con burrata e due bei piatti di trippa. Il tiramisù la chicca finale. Assolutamente consigliato.

È la seconda volta che ceniamo in questo ristorante, ci è piaciuto ritornare dove ci eravamo trovati davvero bene, la mia compagna voleva riassaggiare la loro pasta fatta in casa, i tordelli lucchesi! Per antipasto una tartare buonissima e per me una rosticciana di Cinta Senese con patate al forno. Per finire con un ottima mousse al cioccolato e caffè. Tutto in linea con le nostre aspettative, servizio abbastanza veloce.

30/12/2024: Excellent food and nice interior. Friendly staff and owner. 8/12/24 After 2 years we returned here for dinner. One confirmed obviously. The only flaw was a bloody brawl and bottles between non-EU citizens in the adjacent square, unfortunately now recurring in many Italian cities.
24/12/2024: Went for dinner, the food is good, the service is excellent, very nice and kind, the internal environment is very characteristic and nice.

24/11/2024: Vel restaurant located in the center of the village Ideal to park the car under the village and walk up 250 meters on foot The restaurant is very welcoming with panoramic terraces overlooking Versilia and Liguria Varied and interesting menu The house tordelli are phenomenal! Recommended for lunch to enjoy the panoramic view
