L'Incontro Ristorante In Carpi

08/04/2025: When I realized I was going to have lunch at Osteria Francescana I was thrilled I couldn't contain myself (after all, how can you not be in this type of restaurant). The dining room service is one of the best I have ever seen. An impeccable elegance and harmony between the waiters, they make you feel like you are the only one there at that moment. Unfortunately, the only thing that penalizes this restaurant are the dishes they offer. They are beautiful to look at (some are works of art), but as the saying goes "All that glitters is not gold". Only 3-4 dishes in total were good, but the others were harmless and did not convey the goodness of that dish. They were not special, no particular flavor stood out and they had no "personality". I understand the great work done behind it, but to be like a few years ago, they should put more passion into it.

06/04/2025: Difficult to review a place like this. Expectations were obviously high, but the surprise was that these expectations were even exceeded. A special thank you to all the staff, who made sure that our culinary experience was also mixed with a pleasant and fun day. All ready to respond to our curiosities, to satisfy our requests, to make us feel at ease as if we were at home, and to make an experience playful and informal which, if not approached with the right spirit that they granted us, "risked" being limited to a wonderful tasting of delicious foods. We were also lucky, they reserved a room exclusively for us. I promised myself I would return with the new menu, to redo a culinary journey around the world. Thank you!
