Good food, quite formal atmosphere, good food but not enough to justify the rather high cost

We finally visited Incontro, a top restaurant in Carpi recommended by a colleague, and were completely satisfied with the location, the service (very attentive), and the delicious seafood dishes (appetizer, first course, and second course), expertly prepared and presented. The wine list is also excellent. The prices are quite high, but given the quality of the ingredients and the dishes, the final bill is worth it. Congratulations, we'll be back for another fantastic experience.

The place is very nice. The food is acceptable.

Lunch for the midday break. I ate the single fish dish (my colleague had the meat one), excellent flavors, punctual service without frills.

An informal lunch, deliberately undemanding, to break up a busy day of sightseeing; a very good first course and dessert; no wine, since we had to drive, but a small, satisfying aperitif. A pleasant stop, worth repeating. Conclusion: expectations were met by the outcome.

Perfect evening! We wanted an intimate evening to celebrate a special event...what can I say...it turned out to be the best evening of our lives. The welcome and service were wonderful, they escorted us to our table and pampered us from start to finish without ever being intrusive, maintaining a refined elegance that is now rare. The tables were elegantly and tastefully set, with silver cutlery and plates served in cloches brought to the table on an elegant trolley. The cuisine was of the highest quality...I can't recommend one dish over another because everything was delicious, from the stuffed pasta for the first course, to the pigeon for the second course, and finally the fried ravioli filled with rum cream accompanied by Tabasco ice cream. An experience you absolutely must try! The wine selection is more than excellent, with wines from every region and a wide variety, even at affordable prices. I'm giving it 5 stars only because I can't give more! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Honest food, without excess, in a warm, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere. The maître d' is a true artist and offers remarkable wines. All within a reasonable range. A true luxury for those whose concept of pleasure is linked to courtesy, quality, and education.
