Many years ago, when I still lived in the north of the country, we bought a seaside home in Francavilla, on Via Delle Driadi. As always happens in these cases, over time, we questioned the wisdom of our choice, concluding that, as with all stages of a family's life, some things, as a result of the decision to buy a seaside home, turned out to be positive, others less so. Among the good things that happened to us, along with our new living situation, was undoubtedly the proximity to the Merope beach resort. Here, we spent every day of our summers in absolute serenity, allowing us to make an important contribution to the growth, education, and socialization of our children. Sometimes, many things in life are taken for granted, but looking back on them after so many decades, it becomes clear that among the many situations that contribute to the development of young people, choosing the right beach resort can also be a key factor, especially if you spend more than three months of your life there during the year. We rented an umbrella and two sun loungers at this beach resort and were very happy with the price. The beach resort offers excellent services, and has a private beach area where you can enjoy the beautiful, crystal-clear sea of ​​Francavilla al Mare.

I'm responding belatedly to Ms. Angelica Marrone's review. I'm doing so because I thought it was very unfair. I was sitting next to her the day she and her family had lunch at the restaurant she heavily criticized. It can happen that a dish is more or less salty; what shouldn't happen is a negative, overly critical attitude toward the chef, given that they immediately replaced the fried fish. When you left, leaving the second tray on the table because the fish was still salty, despite the chef's assurances that it was salt-free, a young man at the next table tasted the dish, intrigued by the discussion. It was salt-free! My husband and I often dine here; the fish is always fresh, the dishes are tasty. Everyone is kind and friendly. One negative thing...the portions are huge, and at the end of the season I'll have to go to a dietician 😀😀😀

We stopped for a pit stop during a trip to Gargano, we enjoyed a fish-based lunch, excellent quality of the fresh raw material, kind, efficient and professional staff. I recommend it and if I can I will return
