During my trip to Salerno, I discovered this delightful pastry shop just steps from the Duomo, and it was one of my fondest memories. A simple, authentic place with a family atmosphere, where you immediately feel at ease. I enjoyed a fragrant sfogliatella, a filled brioche, and an excellent coffee. Everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and had that authentic flavor reminiscent of tradition. You can sense their attention to quality and passion for their work. It's the ideal place for breakfast or a sweet treat while strolling through the historic center. If you find yourself in Salerno, I absolutely recommend stopping by.

We recently completed a 3 week stay in Salerno and stopping for a cappuccino, some hot tea, and pastries at Landi's was part of our morning routine. They always greeted us warmly, helping us in choosing a pastry (they knew more English than we knew Italian). All the various pastries and drinks we had were great and moderately priced. I commented to my wife that both our drinks and pastries combined were not much more than one Starbucks drink back home. We stopped in for a last visit on our last day there. Said our good byes and well wishes. And while sitting outside enjoying their products, one of the ladies came outside and gifted us with a nice teacup adorned with the name of the establishment. We miss our daily stop at Landi.

The cakes are quite good but management is very unwelcoming

Great pastries that are fresh, w delicious espresso drinks. No extra charges if standing at the counter. A local treat!
