Excellent lunch. We had truly delicious swordfish and octopus sandwiches. It's best to book because it's always very busy. Great for a quick lunch on the beach.

Excellent sandwiches, reasonably priced compared to others (1 sandwich €12), although the total was disappointing. Two sandwiches, two portions of chips, a portion of watermelon, a small bottle of water, and a Coke for €48. Almost like a restaurant. The staff was polite but not overly friendly.

The place itself is splendid. This beach resort in particular is a gem. Clean and well-kept, with an old-fashioned professionalism, from the owner... a truly delightful person. The food is good and plentiful, and even where the menu doesn't reach, the owner's kindness comes through, fulfilling my wife's "off-menu" wish... without charging a cent.

Rent a wonderful chair! €15 for the whole day. The staff are very attentive to the needs of tourists. I highly recommend it.

Servizio impeccabile gentilissimi e disponibili . Prezzi onesti . 3 lettini e un ombrellone 15 euro . Inoltre ci hanno usare un secondo ombrellone .

Siamo stati pochi giorni a Scilla ma dal Lido Francesco non saremmo mai andati via, non ho mai trovato tanta gentilezza e cortesia da parte di Francesco e di tutto il suo numeroso staff. Ci ha deliziato con degli ottimi menù a partire dai panini giganti con pesce spada o polpo, la frittura di pesce e la frutta mista tutto veramente ben preparato con una velocità impressionante si capisce che la cucina è di gran livello. Il servizio impeccabile per i più pigri servono i piatti anche sotto l’ombrellone, Francesco è una persona squisita ci ha coccolato e accontentati per ogni nostra richiesta e sempre con un sorriso solare. Se dovete scegliere uno dei bagni della spiaggia grande di Scilla questo è il migliore.

30/09/2025: We visited this restaurant on Monday around noon. We were greeted by the staff who immediately attended to us, the gentleman was attentive. He offered specialties that we did not try, unfortunately we were not very hungry. However, the appetizer for 2 people was great, a large selection of local products. It was tasty, sufficient and we enjoyed our time in this restaurant.
20/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. The appetizer was excellent and plentiful, with which we sampled several Calabrian specialties, beautifully cooked and presented. The scampi ravioli were also very good. The young staff was kind and very friendly. A pleasant surprise, like Stilo itself.

28/08/2025: I would define the place as "The Peace of the Angels" in the middle of nature, a beautiful location, with many ancient tools attached to the stone walls, excellent service, spectacular dishes, cooked by a chef who knows his stuff... congratulations, we will return soon.
18/08/2025: "I booked a farmhouse stay in Bova Marina. Are you happy? Let's go to your homeland!" This is how my husband began, about two months ago, alluding to my great love for Calabria. As soon as we arrived, Domenico and Mimma's smiles and kindness disarmed us. They exude a kindness and genuineness that few possess. The Calabrians have cordiality and warmth in their blood, qualities that attract and touch even the hardest hearts, but that's not a given... Returning from the beach and welcoming us with a ready joke and a wide-ranging smile, despite our tiredness and daily commitments, was like a caress on the heart. We immediately connected, to the point that relaxing on the wicker sofas under a portico was so natural and pleasant, it gave us a sense of well-being and peace. You realize that in this frenetic life, filled with superficial and cold relationships, rare moments like these days spent with Domenico and Mimma are a gift. Authentic cuisine, freshly prepared dishes, accompanied by the professionalism and kindness of their children, Annalisa and Giambattista, provided the perfect backdrop. Their specialty? There isn't one dish in particular, as they are all excellent, from appetizer to dessert...all organic and all cooked with love. We'll be back soon for the warmth and love we feel...
