Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante durante una gita a Caprarola. Il locale è carino e arredato con gusto. Tuttavia i numerosi tavoli vuoti durante il pranzo domenicale mi avevano un po’ insospettito. E questa sensazione è stata confermata dal pasto che abbiamo consumato. Le pappardelle al sugo di persico, erano sostanzialmente prive di sapore. Buona la zuppa di funghi. La bistecca era piuttosto dura e lo stinco di maiale non aveva nessun tipo di sapore, cosa assai difficile per questa tipologia di carne, oltre ad essere stoppacioso. Vino della casa non classificabile. una nota positiva, la gentilezza del personale.

Overlooking Lake Vico, which with its 507 m altitude is the highest of the large Italian lakes, Lido dei Pioppi is an absolutely recommended place.
The restaurant has almost 80 years of history and is a point of reference for typical regional cuisine.
An ideal stop for a day out on the lake, which offers numerous leisure opportunities (trekking, kayaking,...) or for those heading towards the capital from the North.
We, with a detour from Orte and Orvieto, visited the two lakes (Bolsena and Vico) and had lunch at the Lido.
I suggest homemade pasta with grilled perch and whitefish.
The family management creates an informal and welcoming environment.

Locale sul lago, permette di rilassarsi mangiando discretamente (in particolare i piatti a base di pesce di lago).
Il locale non è nuovissimo ma risulta gradevole.

The ravioli filled with fish are very good. Fish lasagna is actually a decomposed ravioli: layer of lasagna, fish, layer of lasagna and a good amount of well-concentrated fresh tomato sauce on top. The golden and fried perch to review the breading.
The octopus Luciana style is very tasty.
A salad and a bottle of white wine.
There is not the right relationship between quality and price!
The place is certainly beautiful, quiet and overlooking the lake.

Wonderful location surrounded by greenery and overlooking Lake Vico. Excellent local fish and meat cuisine, typical and tasty dishes. A very relaxing experience and in summer you can even swim in the lake. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent quality/price!
