L'iconicella In Lettomanoppello

I had a great time. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff was kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was rustic and clean. I spent a lovely evening with friends, eating well and spending a fair amount. The only downside is the parking; you have to park uphill on the road, but it's okay to make do.

Restaurant with a wonderful panoramic view of the hills of the Abruzzo hinterland. Large place, with good distance between the tables, clean, furnishings appropriate to the type of activity, bathrooms that could be improved. I have been going to this place for some time, and every time I am amazed as the dishes that are offered are made impeccably and despite the rich condiments and the abundance, they remain easily digestible. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it, it is an experience to do.

Trattoria L’Iconcella is exactly what its name suggests: a rustic place, surrounded by simple and genuine people, just like their dishes. We discovered it thanks to a local friend who recommended it to us as a classic Abruzzo trattoria. Even though we arrived late (it was 2:30 pm), they welcomed us without any problems, which is something not all kitchens would have done at that time. We had an appetizer to share and two first courses: tagliatelle with peas, mushrooms and truffle, and tortellini with ricotta and spinach in sauce. The portions were really generous, they brought us two enormous Flemish dishes to share between the three of us… but we did our best to honor the chef, and we did it! At the end of the meal, coffee, ammazzacaffè (with a tasting of local liqueurs, since they had understood that we were “foreigners”) and a free dessert. The final bill was surprising: between the three of us we spent only €45, really nothing compared to how much and how we ate. And even after lunch they let us chat in peace until almost 5 pm, coming to greet us with a smile and a few funny jokes only at the end. A simple, authentic and more than positive experience. Definitely worth returning to.

Siamo andati su consiglio alla Trattoria Iconicella, a Lettomanoppello, e anche se è stata solo una volta, ce ne siamo subito innamorati! Veniamo da Roma, quindi non siamo vicini, ma sarebbe valsa la pena anche da più lontano. Cibo buonissimo, porzioni abbondanti, prezzi ottimi. Il personale è favoloso: accogliente, gentile e attento. Torneremo sicuramente!

Trattoria a conduzione familiare. Ambiente tipico casareccio, molto semplice ma efficace nella sostanza, riferita per chi frequenta questi locali. Primi piatti variegati con ingredienti artigianali, in particolare ravioli alla ricotta di pecora locale, fettuccine alla boscaiola e grigliata di carne. Porzioni più che abbondanti e prezzi modici. Fuori programma, offerto un piatto di carne di agnello al sugo. P.S. - Per gli amanti della raffinatezza e del gourmet si sconsiglia la loro partecipazione in quanto non è un locale idoneo alle loro aspettative.
