Fresher than this, only seafood! And beautifully cooked. Today, an excellent fresh mupa grilled while we enjoyed our appetizers.

If you want to get the best local seafood, this place is a must visit. Wide variety of fresh fish cooked in truly Sicilian style . Matteo was very friendly and a great host. Just beware there is a little “fishy” smell as they also sell fresh raw fish. But the food is worth it.

24/12/2025: Restaurant like new The food was perfect. I had the linguine a lo scoglio for €23, and the other dishes were also delicious. The quality was excellent, and the view from the balcony was beautiful, as you can see in the photo. The waiters were very kind. Otherwise, the entire place was clean and well-maintained.

04/01/2026: We tried lunch and dinner. Delicious. The freshest fish is chosen on the spot with the owner and then prepared simply yet exceptionally, bringing out the flavors of the sea. What can I say... it's worth the trip. The seafood salad with "occhi di bue" (ox-eye) is definitely worth ordering. Delicious raw, first and second courses. Quality local wines. To finish the meal, the sorbet is a must. For those who love bitters, try a local herb amaro 😋
20/12/2025: The best seafood salad you can eat in the world is here at La Grotta. That's not a joke, it's the truth!!! Try it and you'll see. If there were 10 stars, I'd give them!
