Fresher than this, only seafood! And cooked beautifully. Today, an excellent fresh mupa grilled while we enjoyed our appetizers. Update 28/02/2026: exceptional roast pauro.

I'd tried this fishmonger a few years ago, but last Sunday we stopped in for a meal based on the recommendation of a relative who has become a regular. A truly excellent recommendation: the staff is very warm and welcoming, setting us up at a table in less than ten minutes even though there's limited seating. The quality of the food is truly excellent, with fresh fish and a variety of options at the counter. The express first and second courses are also interesting, at reasonable prices. We ate really well and will definitely be back!

If you want to get the best local seafood, this place is a must visit. Wide variety of fresh fish cooked in truly Sicilian style . Matteo was very friendly and a great host. Just beware there is a little “fishy” smell as they also sell fresh raw fish. But the food is worth it.

07/02/2026: I've been frequenting this restaurant seasonally, mostly during the summer holidays, for as long as I can remember. My parents took me there when I was a child, and today, many years later, I continue to enjoy it. It's a regular stop for me when I visit Sicily, and over the years, it hasn't changed. We always find incredibly fresh products, simple, authentic cuisine that showcases the flavors of the fish without ever overpowering them, and above all, the warmth of the people who have always worked there with great passion and hard work. What can I say? Try it!
