We had lunch during our visit to the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel, and it was a wonderful experience, a real find, a gem in the city. The chef, besides being friendly and welcoming, is a wonderful cook.

Remarkable.
You will find in Gege a bubbly chef genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about the ingredients of his land, the Gargano. Nothing in his menu had more than 3 ingredients which is a rare feat. Often vegan or vegetarian as the original cousine was “of the poor” who couldn’t afford meat.
The taste explodes in your mouth.

An extraordinary experience! Dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail, excellent ingredients, and pairings that never tire. Impeccable service, attentive but never intrusive. The venue is welcoming and well-maintained, perfect for enjoying a special dinner. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

Me and my family had a fantastic experience. The quality of the dishes was excellent throughout, and Chef Gegè was notably flexible in accommodating our specific requests, even modifying the set menu to meet our preferences. The highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert—a perfect finish to a memorable lunch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Monte Sant’Angelo!
