29/11/2025: A friendly and refined atmosphere. I stopped for a lampredotto sandwich, the "by-night" version, and the staff was quick and courteous: a truly perfect choice. I enjoyed the sandwich "in its pure form," just salt and pepper, as they used to do, when sauces only arrived much later. Congratulations! It's nice to see that the authentic custom of "slipping" the lampredotto out of the sandwich is still maintained here, with the crumb removed as tradition dictates. A detail I've never seen before: the bread warmed on the griddle, which adds a pleasant touch of crunch. I'll add an important detail: I wasn't a familiar customer. Often, walk-in customers are served only the less valuable part of the lampredotto (the Spannocchia), but at **Cernacchio** they prepared a rich and complete sandwich for me, as it should be. 25/11/2025: We found it by chance during a quick lunch break in beautiful Florence. As soon as we entered, we immediately felt at home, thanks to the warm, comfortable atmosphere and the friendly staff. We stayed longer than expected, enjoying two typical Florentine sandwiches that we'll never forget! At the end of the meal, the staff took a souvenir photo of us, which was then added to the others on the wall. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.
