I highly recommend L'Eremita! The restaurant is a true gem, with a charming, intimate atmosphere that perfectly evokes Tuscany: it makes you feel right at home. The traditional dishes are carefully prepared, bringing authentic and genuine flavors to the table, those of times gone by, rarely found elsewhere. Excellent service and extremely knowledgeable and welcoming staff. An experience not to be missed!

We've been here several times, and each time it's a confirmation. This time, I'm sorry, but the steak wasn't special. It was stringy, and they'd left that white skin that made it impossible to chew. I think at least 40% of it wasn't eaten. When I pointed this out to the manager, she didn't deduct anything from our bill. I don't think that's a good thing.

13/01/2026: Excellent hotel, superb restaurant, rooms in line with 3-star standards, Riccardo and Chef Marco, his brother, are very friendly and kind people, recommended for its location which allows you to reach the best tourist destinations in a short time.
04/01/2026: Excellent hotel/restaurant along the road leading to Volterra from Pomarance, 10 km before Volterra, in the Saline di Volterra area. Great Florentine steaks, 1 x 2 steaks weighing more than 1.3 kg, 2 first courses, pici, wild boar, and octopus, 2 small carafes of wine, coffee. Rich and inviting menu, featuring traditional Tuscan dishes. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, wines, bottles, half bottles, glasses, and carafes.
