Excellent food, very kind staff

An exceptional restaurant with excellent, traditional cuisine! This is in a beautiful setting and a very charming village!

After visiting Triora, we had dinner at this delightful restaurant. The food was delicious, and the sugeli were truly delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not to be missed! Highly recommended.

Located at the entrance to the historic village, L'Erba Gatta is a bright and welcoming restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, inviting you to make yourself comfortable, especially after traveling the scenic roads to Triora. Customer service is one of its strengths, with attentive and thoughtful service that makes you feel at home. There's also a pleasant outdoor seating area to enjoy the climate and tranquility. The true heart of L'Erba Gatta is its regional cuisine, drawing heavily from the riches of the Ligurian-Piedmont region. The ingredients are of the highest quality: from the extra virgin Taggiasca olive oil to the mushrooms, from the local cheeses (such as the exquisite Toma di pecora Brigasca) to the famous Pane di Triora. The chef offers dishes that, while remaining faithful to tradition, are never banal. Don't miss the specialties that pay homage to local cuisine with flair and technical skill: First Courses: Lean ravioli topped with cherry tomatoes and marjoram or sugeli with sheep's meat ragù are a true delight, dishes rich in flavor and reminiscent of home. Second Courses: Pork ribs with honey or the classic Brandacujun (creamed cod) are executed to perfection, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. Desserts: Concluding with Triora biscuits accompanied by hippocras is the ideal ending to a memorable lunch or dinner.

If dining were magic, this place would be Hogwarts. Highly recommended!

We found it while searching for a place in the hills/mountains. The reviews were excellent, so we went for lunch. We ate so much and so delicious! The branda and tartare with parmesan cream were superb, the polenta with porcini mushroom sauce and chanterelle and speck polenta, the honeyed pork ribs (we shared them since we'd already eaten so much) were fabulous. To finish, the caramel gelato and cold saffron cream were delicious! Caffè corretto, half a bottle of red wine, and caffè corretto. The bill was very reasonable: €89.00. Very satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

The place was packed, but they secured two seats for us. Just inside the old town, it's a lovely place, including the outdoor seating, which offers a lovely view of the valley from the right spot. No complaints about the service, which was very polite, and the same goes for the food, which was really good and well-prepared, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

Very good food in a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff

Des amis résidents locales, nous ont amenés dans leur restaurant préféré. Toute sorte de plats du pays. Je suggère les raviolis du pays aux crémeux fromage, les pâtes type Tortelinni, les panizza fait avec la farine de pois chiches, le moelleux jarret de porc, la saucisson du pays et bien sûr le vin local blanc!
