The king's herb... Excellence upon excellence….
I had the honor of staying for an excellent dinner with my brother and upon our arrival we were greeted by the waitress who accompanied us to this rustic and beautiful room.
We chose a menu in the dark: that is, we gave the chef carte blanche to let us taste a menu...
I must say that overall the first meters were of the highest quality, Excellent!!!
We were very happy!! Since we have never tried a place like this.!

We had dinner in this wonderful restaurant in the heart of the center of Modena. Food studied down to the smallest detail... tradition enhanced and modernized to the maximum. Simply incredible tortellini in broth. Impeccable service but compared to other starred hotels a little more "simple". The chef however surprised us. Friendly and well inclined towards conversation with his guests. Pure passion. Compliments

It was a wonderful experience, first time in a starred restaurant, impeccable and unobtrusive service, very well looked after place and the food is incredible. Tried a surprise tasting menu, there are dishes that may be more or less close to your taste but all beautiful, good, special. Some of them are superlative in my opinion! Compliments

Great location in historic center of Modena with nice minimalistic decor. We chose the “Step back in time” degustation (€130 pp) menu because the head waiter reassured us it was traditional dishes with a modern touch. However, the modern touch’s was only the very small portions and was lacking the innovation expected in a Michelin starred place. The recipes were simple and the ingredients of average standard ( the cold cuts the tortellini, the risotto and the desserts ). We were expecting more from the tagliatelle ragu with 5 kinds of meats. The one dish above average was the Veal cheek. The Borozzi style cake was a tasteless hard to bite biscuit. Not worth the money paid

We went for the tasting menu at €130 pp. some dishes were exquisite, some very average. The tortellini in brodo was exquisite. Dessert disappointing: I’ve had better chocolate brownies in a pub in England. But the saddest thing of all? No atmosphere. There were just 6 of us in the restaurant all evening on a Friday night.

Yesterday 3 April 2024 my husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch and we were extremely satisfied.
The staff is very kind and competent, the environment comfortable and relaxing, the wine shop well-stocked and with prestigious labels.
BUT THEY ARE TRULY SPECTACULAR DISHES AND NOT ONLY FOR THE AESTHETICS BUT ABOVE ALL FOR THE COMBINATION OF THE FLAVORS.
TRULY RECOMMENDED FOR A UNIQUE SENSORY EXPERIENCE.

Unique experience. Room and service entirely dedicated to our table.
We start with appetizers: donut of parmesan cream, appetizer of mortadella and one of pumpkin, finishing with cuttlefish hamburger.
Fried snail appetizer, first course tortellini lies with mussels and second course suspended duck. Finally fried dumpling with dessert and chocolate tastes.
