Great Michelin star restaurant tucked away in Modena. We came for dinner and tried the vegetarian course menu. All the flavours for all the dishes were perfect, they all went well and complemented the vegetables that went with them.
The use of vegetables was creative, all the dishes were well presented, couldn’t go wrong. At the end of all these courses you don’t realise you’re full. Full of lovely flavours and healthy vegetables.
Wonderful dinner and wine pairing option. The only negative point is that you don’t get to pair a different wine with every dish.
As the restaurant was not busy the night we were there, there was extra staff present and as soon as you finished the next dish came out quickly.

A unique experience in the heart of Modena, we chose the "Espressione" tasting, a (sensory) journey in the dark which does not anticipate the ten courses that will be served and our trust was fully rewarded: in addition to the quality of the dishes served (not we had doubts), to the pairings of the glasses, the professionalism of the Staff and the availability of Chef Marchini are also worthy of note.
What can I say? A round of applause and thanks to everyone....

Extraordinary culinary experience at L'Erba del Re, a restaurant that undoubtedly deserves its Michelin star! Chef Luca Marchini manages to combine creativity and technique impeccably, offering dishes that are true masterpieces of taste. The service was top notch: professional and attentive to every detail.
The suckling pig and turbot were simply incredible, prepared with care that brought out every nuance of flavour. Perhaps the only slightly more substantial "touch" was the wheat-based dish, which after many courses was a bit abundant. Overall, however, an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to those seeking excellence and innovation in the kitchen!

Ero incuriosito dall’estro di questo chef in Modena Luca Marchini
Sono stato ripagato con una serata a mio avviso memorabile
Tutto il menù del passato ( chiamato così ) proposto nella serata …ha risvegliato in me moltissimi ricordi …i piatti sono memoria soprattutto quando sono presentati e cucinati magistralmente.
Locale raffinato accogliente elegante …tavoli ben distanziati
Servizio attento e professionale
Ho apprezzato tantissimo il riscontro dello chef ad ogni tavolo dopo qualche piatto

The king's herb... Excellence upon excellence….
I had the honor of staying for an excellent dinner with my brother and upon our arrival we were greeted by the waiter who accompanied us to this rustic and beautiful room.
We chose a menu in the dark: that is, we gave the chef carte blanche to let us taste a menu...
I must say that overall the first meters were of the highest quality, Excellent!!!
We were very happy!! Since we have never tried a place like this.!
