Years ago we went there and for our anniversary we chose this restaurant. Little choice and too many particular dishes (duck, pigeon, veal kidney, snails) ... there was not a second fish to choose from. Even the dessert my husband had was not up to par. The service and the location are 5 stars.

Food was tasty, nice that they have classics on the menu. The menu does cost excessively for the dishes served (parma ham, pasta, tortellini soup, etc). The courses arrive on the table in rapid succession. Restaurant is a bit austere. The matching wines are really fantastic!

I had dinner at this restaurant for work, a choice made for a group of more than 20 people. Really positive experience. The food, the service and the environment were all exceptional without any flaw. But the thing that struck me most is the ability to resolve any problem that may arise during the evening. (And when you have to please more than 20 people, of different nationalities and cultures, no matter how well you plan, the unexpected is always around the corner) Thank you so much. Dopo molti anni pur abitando a Modena con la mia Signora siamo tornati all'Erba del Re . La location sempre accogliente e calda , il personale discreto e all'altezza , la cucina in linea su quanto ti aspetti da un ristorante stellato, un entrèe importante capace di esprimere il lavoro di ricerca che si palesa con una esplosione di sapori e lavorazioni ben distinte e congegnate. I primi piatti molto buoni e anche essi curati ed equilibrati come la stella richiede. Un elogio personale va al piccione ( sono un amante di questa carne che richiede molta passione e una grande attenzione nella cottura ) risultato "Magnifico" e sicuramente sarà il motivo scatenante che a breve ci farà tornare.
