18/06/2026: We chose Trattoria dei Bracconieri in Brunate to celebrate a special occasion, and it proved to be a wonderful choice. Perched high above the beautiful town of Como, this charming and cosy restaurant enjoys one of the most breathtaking locations imaginable. The food was absolutely delicious, from the starters to the main courses and desserts. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The fresh orange juice was particularly outstanding – one of the best I have ever tasted. What made the experience truly unforgettable was dining on the open terrace, almost like sitting on a balcony suspended above the town. The panoramic views across Como and the lake were simply spectacular. Looking down from such a height while enjoying a leisurely lunch created a magical atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, the setting was picturesque, and the entire experience felt special from beginning to end. Even the name, "Trattoria dei Bracconieri" – "The Hunters' Tavern" – adds a touch of character and humour. If you are visiting Lake Como and would like to enjoy excellent food with truly stunning views, I would highly recommend this delightful restaurant.
