A restaurant that successfully combines authenticity, quality, and a truly family-friendly atmosphere, the likes of which are increasingly rare today.
The menu is a tribute to true Maremma cuisine: flavorful, well-crafted dishes, without unnecessary modern constraints. The homemade first courses are excellent, from Maremma tortelli to pici with game ragù, always rich and flavorful. The meat-based second courses, especially the wild boar, are cooked to perfection and reflect the region in every bite. The side dishes and desserts are also excellent, simple but made to perfection.
The real added value, however, is the welcome: family-run, the service is friendly, genuine, and never rushed. You feel like a guest, not a customer. The quality-price ratio is absolutely right, especially considering the portions and the quality of the ingredients.
A sincere, no-frills restaurant that keeps tradition alive and makes you want to return.
Highly recommended for those seeking the authentic Maremma, both in the food and in the atmosphere.

Spectacular.....!!!! We ate at this restaurant by booking from home because it's always full and on other occasions we always missed the train.... Tortelloni with meat ragù very good Pici 🍛 with Porcini Mushrooms OUTSTANDING I couldn't help but have a Bisss... then Venison with Honey 🍯 off the menu the best I've eaten was at Bis but I had no more room... carafe of good house Morellino and a nice dessert... I needed a grappa to get back on my feet😂... if you are in the area go to LECCIO MORO.... I forgot the UNIQUE Owner🔝

Fantastic place!!!! Exceptional food, simple but warm service.
Definitely book ahead because it's not big and is often completely full, especially on weekends.
I went there in March 2025 on a very gloomy and rainy winter day. And it was sold out.

Excellent trattoria! It's a winding road to get there from Grosseto or Castiglion d'Pescaia, in a village from another era, but it's absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is small and old-fashioned, but charming and welcoming. The anduia on the tables is a reminder of the origins of the kind and friendly host, the true leader of the restaurant. Friendly, fast, and knowledgeable service, excellent dishes, from the first courses with mushrooms or wild boar sauce, which is present in various dishes. The second courses are also top-notch, all top-notch. Pure spectacle! Good prices, not expensive. A staple of Maremma cuisine. Unmissable.
