If I could I would give more stars!
As soon as you finish dinner, what can I say:
Very kind staff, and superlative food, all homemade! ...And you can feel it!...and you can appreciate it!
Informal environment but cleanliness and quality at the highest levels, much better than some "starred" places.
But let's go back to the food: the pickles, very good, have the flavor of the past, in short, like grandma used to make them!
The Maremma tortelloni with ragù...the best of my life, and I have been scouring the Maremma for 60 years.
And what can we say about the Cinta Senese steak?
A triumph of taste and delicacy, which is very difficult for this specialty, it is so strong in its own right that making it delicate without dulling the flavors is truly masterful. Well done!
Location of a trattoria from times gone by, very familiar, beautiful.
Very honest account.
You leave with a smile, and not just because of the super nice owners.

Excellent cuisine with freshly prepared dishes. In particular the homemade pasta: excellent Maremma tortelli with wild boar ragout and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The friendliness of the managers is the right seasoning for an excellent lunch

At Leccio Moro you eat divinely!
The location isn't the best but the food is good! Very good! the owner is one of the kindest and nicest people I have ever met! I went with my partner for dinner, after several days of perseverance we finally found a little hole because the demand is high and there are few places so I recommend booking at least a week in advance (at least for the summer period)... the order It was almost completely recommended by the owner and we didn't regret trusting it at all! Mixed platter as a starter, pici with white ragù with roe deer (fantastic) for me and Maremma tortelli with wild boar ragù (excellent) for her... as a second course, wild boar with apples (typical of Tirli), one of those dishes that makes you they make you say "I want to go back there to eat it" even if you live 600 km away... a tiramisu and a tart made very, very well as desserts... the bill is
very honest therefore... nothing else to say, Leccio Moro is an obligatory stop if you are near Castiglione della Pescaia and if you are into hospitality and good food!!!
Forget about hyper-pumped and big-name restaurants where there is neither hospitality nor good food where they kick you out to free up seats and the bill is doubled compared to all the others (every reference is coincidental... etc..etc)
IL LECCIO MORO! In addition to the beauty of the village itself, you don't need any other excuse to visit the beautiful Tirli!

Fantastic restaurant.
In the center of the town of Tirli, in the Maremma just above the sea, at a height of 400m above sea level, with fresh air even in the height of summer, there is this family-run restaurant where, between indoor and outdoor tables you eat Tuscan specialties made with skill and craftsmanship; everything homemade, from pasta to desserts.
Among its delicious and delicious specialities, I think the wild boar with apples is not to be missed, a recipe handed down to the Leccio Moro cook by an elderly lady of the town, which makes this dish different from similar ones that we can find around Tuscany: Perfectly balanced in flavors and decidedly superior in taste.
In the restaurant which is in fact a typical home-made trattoria, you can breathe an air of friendliness that makes you feel at home: you sit down, start eating and you would never get up again, unfortunately at a certain time they close...
Remember to book in advance.

As expected I went back...everything was always ok...and a third time for personal reasons I delayed the appointment for an hour...they waited for me and served me very well even though it was now 2.30pm

You can never go wrong with Antonio. Fried vegetables and sublime tortelli with butter and sage. Tuesday the 6th I'll be back and have a grilled pork. I saw it at the next table and it made me hungry. Management and service with unique courtesy and friendliness. Relaxing and fresh location. If he had been around in the 14th century, the good (not so good) Guido Riccio da Fogliano instead of making war on Montemassi, would have gone up here to Tirli to eat.

L'avevo già recensito per delle pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale fenomenali. Questa volta ho voluto cambiare e mal me ne incolse. I tortelli erano troppo grandi, ben oltre i 6 cm standard. Il ragù molto grossolano non si amalgamava bene con il tortello troppo scivoloso. Per secondo ho voluto prendere il cinghiale ai funghi porcini, troppo sanguinolento. Comunque ci tornerò e questa volta prenderò le pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale e tutto il resto sempre squisito. Ottima la zuppa inglese, personale gentilissimo Non ho sbagliato il ristorante ma la scelta del menù.
