L'Eccellenza In Valenza

I happened to be in Valenza for work on a Saturday in September. Chef Illi, along with his wife Linda, welcomed my colleagues and I to their restaurant in a superb manner. We ate very well, and the service was truly top-notch, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef immediately approached us to let us taste a dish fresh from the oven. Afterward, we hadn't ordered wine, but the chef offered us a glass because he wanted us to fully enjoy the dish we'd ordered. The bread, which was very good, is made in-house with sourdough. We met two professionals with a capital P, which isn't something you get often. If I ever pass through Valenza again, I'll definitely be back.

Four of us had lunch at this restaurant in Valenza, on their beautifully landscaped and pleasant outdoor terrace. We really enjoyed it: the food was good, well-prepared, and the relaxing atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. A welcoming place where we ate well and spent a pleasant time together. Recommended!
