The place is run by very kind people. The Florentine steak melts in your mouth. I pop in every time I'm in Florence if I can!

What can I say except that we have one of the best restaurants "of all time" here! The produce is fresh, the staff is very friendly, the dining room is simple and unpretentious, and above all, the cooking is incredibly masterful. The truffle pasta is sublime, and the beef tagliata with Parmesan and arugula is to die for! As for the wine list, it offers some truly wonderful dishes! There's no doubt we'll be dining here again when we return to Florence.

I found myself eating at this restaurant on a hot August day following Google directions. Outside, it has four two-person tables on the street under umbrellas, but inside, the restaurant is air-conditioned, although the space is small and limited. The waitress was very kind, moving us twice because my wife was too hot, and she didn't hesitate to move other guests who were bothered by the air conditioning. The menu is extensive and varied; the tagliata with Colonnata lard is spectacular, the desserts are very good, and the menu is well-stocked and convenient for the height of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

We had the most delicious dinner and wine at Le Volte - one of the best in San Frediano beautiful neighbourhood in Florence. Bistecca alla Fiorientina was amazingly cooked served on a hot grill. Roasted potatoes perfectly seasoned and delicious roasted vegetables. Paired with a fruity light wine❤️ The service was impeccable. Thank you for the beautiful dinner.

123€ à 2 sans boissons : des spaghettis carbonaras à celles à la truffe - à tomber sans oublier la célèbre cote de bœuf à la florentine et pour finir un tiramisu… tout était ultra frais et bon! Un tout petit restaurant loin de la foule où mangent les locaux c’est tout dire ! Franchement à refaire

Ghibellina Forno Pasticceria Bakery in Florence since 1890

16/10/2025: A wide variety of food makes it hard to choose, as everything is tempting. The cornetos are exquisite, with a dough that seems to be made of butter. The cafeteria is also very good and delicious. The place has beautiful decor, and last but not least, the service is excellent; they're friendly and don't rush you. I would definitely return on my next visit to Florence.
