Very cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The older waiter was incredibly attentive and courteous. He had a good sense of humor and sang along with the musician. The fish (sea bass) was delicious. We had a wonderful evening.

The food was delicious and fresh, and the portions were enormous! The service was also top-notch! If those few bulbs in the back garden were changed from cold to warm light it would be perfect! Once back in Tropea I will definitely come back! :)

Durante una breve vacanza a Tropea, casualmente siamo passati davanti al locale mentre eravamo alla ricerca di un locale per la sera . Buona scelta perché i prodotti erano freschi e ben cucinati , personale gentile e rapporto qualità/ prezzo buono considerato che siamo nel centro storico. Sicuramente da ritornarci.

Urig gemütliches Lokal mitten im Zentrum mit gedecktem Sitzbereich draussen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Serviert werden einfache klassische kalabresische Gerichte mit Betonung auf Fisch und Meeresfrüchten. Alles (auch die Pasta) kommt selbstgemacht und frisch auf den Tisch. Die Pasta mit Nduja, die gegrillten Tintenfische und der Wolfsbarsch waren schlichtweg perfekt zubereitet ! In Anbetracht der moderaten Preise eine echte Entdeckung, wir waren gleich zweimal hier und kommen sicher wieder.

11/09/2025: Good pizza. Service wasn't impeccable (confusion over ordering and inaccurate information about some ingredients), but considering how crowded it was... that's understandable. Prices were more than fair; I'd add that I've never paid so little anywhere else in Italy... and not at the expense of the quality I found.
07/09/2025: Super local restaurant. We were there on a Saturday night with all the locals celebrating a an anniversary. Particular thanks to a very young waitress who looked after us all night. We had fried calamari to start. Spaghetti carbonara and escallopes of chicken in lemon with spicy peppers and potatoes. Delicious👍😄. Table next to us had chocolate pizza which was a new one on us. Must visit in Briatico. Very close to central Piazza. GRAZIE MILLE!❤️

30/09/2025: Reasonable prices (I don't know who put €€€ in the rating) and very fresh fish, friendly owners and staff. I stopped for takeout fried fish for two people, paying by weight and obviously less than at the table, but it was delicious. It's a shame I couldn't stop by for dinner; the best places are at the end of the holidays... Highly recommended. Update September 2025. Prices have indeed gone up, a bit expensive compared to other fishmongers in the area.
23/09/2025: It may not be up to 5 stars, the food was quite tasty, but one portion of pasta was too spicy compared to another of the same kind, the fritters were oversalted, I would say the shrimp were not cooked properly. The view of the sea is beautiful, the restaurant is "worn out".
