Friendly staff, friendly owner, excellent food, and everything is fresh. It has a sea view. I was there a few years ago. I really enjoyed it and recommend it.

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" is the only title that comes to mind for this review.
But let's start from the beginning... it was a lovely summer evening, after sun and sea, with the group of friends I was vacationing with on the island, we decided to eat at this seafood trattoria. A charming family-run restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The cuisine was primarily pizza, but they also offered fish dishes from the catch of the day.
After a debated order, which we placed with the woman we later discovered was the owner's daughter, we managed to complete our order.
Between a chat and a glass of wine, we realized how long it had been since we ordered our dishes (45 minutes to an hour). But finally, the appetizers arrived, which we immediately noticed were insufficient for everyone at the table. Furthermore, we were informed that the fish we had ordered for the appetizer was sold out and that we would find another alternative. Despite the truly small portions, we try to share the dishes, but soon we're hungry from the long wait, resulting in a subsequent order of pasta dishes, further confusing the trattoria owner/fisherman chef/cook.
When the dishes finally begin to arrive, they arrive for some but not all, then the pasta arrives, and finally the fish we originally ordered.
I'd like to make it clear that the quality of the products is beyond question—high quality and freshness—but I'd like to say a few words about the dining room management, which has been left in the hands of the daughter, whom I'd suggest adopting a more friendly approach.
Finally, we appreciated the helpfulness of the father/cook, who, once dinner was over, joined us at the table and passionately told us about the difficulties of being a fisherman on Salina.
I'd like to offer some food for thought, so that those coming after us can enjoy good seafood without such a long wait. It would also be helpful to guide guests toward more appropriate choices in terms of quantity, especially when dining at large tables.
The daughter in the dining room explained to us that the delays were due to a lack of staff and the fact that we were the last table, an understandable excuse, but one that didn't make the wait any easier. On the contrary, the brother, the pizza chef, was very kind, apologized, and tried to expedite the service.
Overall, the dishes were good and the ingredients were fresh, but the service and organization left much to be desired, especially considering that the bill, at around €55 per person, seemed a bit too high for the overall experience.
It's a place with great potential, thanks to its splendid location and the authenticity of the products: with more careful organization and attentive service, it could really make a leap in quality.

Service great, location great.. whatever. I don’t bring out the review for things like that. We had the Panarea (calzone) and Samuele (pizza) and they were legitimately two of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Exquisite crust, and some of the most enchantingly complimentary toppings that I’d never even dream of putting together. Bravo
