An elegant and refined restaurant with a classy menu: this is as far from being a tourist menu as is the entire city.
The decor is also very different and plenty of extremely interesting artefacts.
The food was excellent, and really worth travelling here for something rather unique.
Surprisingly (for both Calabria and Italy) Infound the service rather underwhelming: in great contrast to the lunchtime meal elsewhere, I didn’t see a single waiter or waitress smile once.
Bit sad really: this place was a few smiles away from being the best restaurant over the last month.

It was recommended to us by the B&B owner and it met our expectations: the ghiotta recipe, both the pasta and the involtini, was a huge hit! Our only criticism was the slightly long wait, but it was worth it!

Excellent dinner with traditional dishes with a touch of originality on a street not far from the Duomo in the historic center. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonable prices.

A delightful restaurant with a seaside setting. The food is remarkable and of the highest quality. The owner, Johnny, delights his guests with his unique charm and enviable professionalism. Among the many extraordinary dishes, I recommend the spaghetti with sea urchins; you'll fall in love with it from the first bite!

La tradizione de “Ù Bais” trova continuità dal padre al figlio ed alla sua famiglia.
E riesce a migliorarsi, grazie ad una qualità del pesce superlativa, e ad una cucina senza fronzoli, ma capace di valorizzare ancor di più il sapore del mare.
Insalata di stocco e spaghetto ai ricci, due punti esclamativi.
Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.
Velocità e cortesia di tutto il personale, menzione speciale per la cordialità e la gentilezza di Rocco, figlio del proprietario, capace di spiegare e servire con il garbo e la gentilezza di un ristoratore navigato, nonostante la giovane età.

Ci siamo trovati all'ora di cena nel centro storico di Reggio e siamo entrati in questo bel ristorante caratteristico.
Il personale molto gentile e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta.
Buona carta dei vini.
Siamo stati 3 sere di seguito per cena e abbiamo mangiato sempre pesce.
