Le Mandrie di San Paolo In Assisi

I don't even know where to start. Everything was a masterpiece. The road to get there is certainly not easy for those who are used to the city but we assure you that it will be worth it! We arrived at Le Mandrie as part of our little honeymoon thanks to a gift box. I had seen this place briefly and luckily I went back to have a look. The place is fabulous, a REAL agriturismo, where you can: - eat local products but above all all homemade, exquisite like we have never tasted - sleep in a bedroom that smells of history, sober and elegant in its rural being - wake up with the blackbirds singing their joy in the park immediately behind your window, a protected park rich in fauna and flora (in the evening we saw a roe deer on the main road!). Everything is truly genuine, simple, personally if I could I would have lived here willingly, even worked here: Rino's enthusiasm truly welcomed us, enveloped us and enchanted us. He knows what he's doing and he does it well, it didn't take him long to convince us to choose them for dinner, which we are grateful for (you already knew we would be happy, right dear Rino?). The dishes were delicious, the portions were right, no frills to present flavors that already smelled amazing. The oil of this place is sublime, as are the cheeses. The waiting staff was attentive and courteous, as well as very friendly... thanks to Marco for his gallantry and professionalism, and also Andrea for his knowledge about the products on sale at the entrance, which we obviously purchased. Dinner paid 62.50 euros for 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 side dish, service charge and water, bread, craft beer by the glass. We consider it a fair amount since it is all made by them, organic and genuine, in an environment that feels like home! The breakfast was almost the most beautiful, so quiet, slow, and again all home-made products or at most local... so we bought the gianduia cream based on oil and also the "Ideale" oil, amazing, a wild pork salami and another sweet thing for home, thanks to a second Marco for having looked after us and for the two chats at breakfast. We have read some not very nice reviews, and we can't understand what these people had in their heads to be able to write so much nonsense. We highly recommend this wonderful place, and we hope to return too, the end ❤️

Enchanting place in the countryside near Assisi. Equipped with an internal restaurant that also offers breakfast. The products all come from their farm and there is also the possibility of purchasing them on site and in a specific point of sale. Authenticity and love for the territory distinguish this place, as well as the kindness and dedication of the staff. We spent two nights in the silence of the countryside and in a warm and welcoming room, equipped with everything you need. We will definitely return. Thank you!!

This is an absolute paradise. The location is great, close to Assasi, but beautifully located in Nature. All the staff are so kind and the food in the restaurant is Amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed two nights at Le Mandrie. Beautiful place, spacious and comfortable rooms. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool (since it was March we were unable to go). The strong part is definitely the kitchen. We tried two dinners and they were delicious: everything produced by them, organic (exquisite first courses, excellent meat). Ditto for breakfast: yogurt made with their milk, desserts made by them, jams always theirs etc... I highly recommend. We will definitely be back :)

We had dinner with a couple of friends, very professional service, super super super dinner. Truly spectacular products. To say I recommend it is to say nothing. Consider it primary.

Posto incantevole con panorama e tramonto ineguagliabili. Casale finemente ristrutturato. Camera ampia benché nonostante la presenza di una cucina fosse priva di suppellettili Leggermente caro. Cena buona con prodotti fatti in casa. Poco attento il servizio.

A conclusione della nostra visita ad Assisi, degli amici ci hanno portato in questo posto per farci provare la cucina tipica umbra. Ebbene, non essendo umbri per noi arrivare è stato abbastanza difficile ma la vista che offre il posto poi ti ripaga. Il locale è rustico con luci soffuse e un'atmosfera quasi casalinga. Abbiamo gustato degli ottimi primi specialmente gli gnocchi al tartufo e il ragù d'oca. Per secondo le tagliate, pur essendo di ottima qualità, ci sono state servite quasi al sangue e non con cottura media come avevamo chiesto. Nel complesso possiamo dire di aver pranzato bene.
