Remarkable appetizers, above all the beef lollipops and the cold cuts platter, less intriguing the fried ones. Incredible first courses; absolutely try the garganelli with rib sauce. Finally exceptional meats, truly a beautiful experience.

Ieri io ed il mio compagno volevamo mangiare una costata di buona qualità, abbiamo cercato sui social un posto che soddisfacesse le nostre aspettative ed abbiamo trovato “Le macine”. Nonostante fossero 40 minuti di strada, decidiamo di andarci. Posso dire? Non potevamo fare scelta migliore! Noi abbiamo preso una Swami da 1kg, loro portano poi un tris di diverse tipologie di sale, dove si intinge la carne. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sinceramente? Ci riandrei anche a piedi! Consigliatissimo. Ps.: personale disponibilissimo, rapido e preparato.

An unforgettable carnivorous experience… I am a great meat lover and have been lucky enough to try many steakhouses around Europe; I must say that my experience at Le Macine was one of the best ever. The place is welcoming and refined, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is cared for down to the smallest details and the background music is pleasant and not invasive. The staff is extremely kind and professional. The service is quick and attentive.

Superb place! I've been there several times and I will definitely go again. Excellent pizza. Meats that will send your palate skyrocketing. Prices are normal for the place. In short, everything is excellent! Staff helpful, friendly and very fast. The owner is more unique than rare. Highly recommended!

My absolute favorite place to eat delicious meat as well as crazy first courses and desserts. Very kind staff, impeccable service and engaging customer welcome! I absolutely recommend the grinders!

01/09/2025: The pizza might be good, but the fact that it's charred is potentially carcinogenic according to the WHO. Plus, the staff has a "friendly" attitude that we found out of place. Given the numerous views, I found a way to show the photo to users. You shouldn't take this as a disapproval of your restaurant, but rather as a help to customers and, if anything, food for thought for the management.

17/08/2025: We wanted to visit the Castello di Montegibbio, but discovered that it was closed at the time of our visit due to Ferragosto. This was a bit disappointing, as we were looking forward to seeing the interior and taking guided tours. 📍 Location & Surroundings ✅ The castle is idyllically situated on a hill, surrounded by green forests and vineyards, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. ✅ Easily accessible by car, although the last few kilometers are a narrow country road. ✅ Parking is available, but sometimes limited when visitors are busy. 🏰 Buildings & Architecture ✅ From the outside, the castle appears impressively well-preserved, with historic walls and towers. ⚠️ Unfortunately, we couldn't visit anything inside because the castle was closed. ✅ The view and the outdoor area of the castle are still perfect for taking photos and strolling. 👥 Service & Information ✅ The staff on site were friendly and were able to provide information about opening hours. ⚠️ No access to tours or interior areas at the time of our visit. 🍽 Dining & Offers ⚠️ Due to the closure, no dining options were available. Conclusion: The Castello di Montegibbio is impressive both scenically and architecturally. However, our visit unfortunately fell on Ferragosto, so we were unable to experience the interior areas. Therefore, only 4 stars, otherwise it would have been a full score.
13/08/2025: Castle with a park and a church within the walls. On some summer days, they organize evenings in the inner courtyard, with a small pub and refreshment area.
