For me the only slightly inconvenient thing is the limited parking but everything else is excellent.

Fantastic experience 💪 You eat fish the way it should be eaten, like it used to be. Everything is so fresh, one of the best scampi mezze maniche ever. Very fair prices, we'll definitely be back as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

It's well known that when you go to a restaurant, you try something new. But a new route doesn't always lead to a new place. Coming back with my family from an evening to forget at another restaurant, I couldn't disappoint my parents, so I played it safe. The lamps illuminate the dishes, the kitchen shines with its own light, and the prices are cold (like a work light). What can I say!!! My lifeline.

The seafood cuisine is reminiscent of grandma's, based on local tradition. A good selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The roast fish is a must-try. The wine list is also adequate. Al fresco dining is available. The restaurant is informal, with friendly waiters. Prices are average. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

A very beautiful restaurant inside and with a lovely outdoor area. The atmosphere is refined and the tables are comfortable for both lunch and dinner. The fish is exceptional; the dishes are truly delicious, fresh, and plentiful. Excellent value: a menu accessible to everyone with generous portions. Friendly staff and quick service. 01/01/2026: A very positive experience! Even though we called at 1:45 PM, we still managed to have lunch. The welcoming and intimate atmosphere and the truly friendly and professional wait staff are a great asset. Appetizer: mixed cured meats and cheeses, and cheese and egg balls. Everything was truly delicious and made with quality ingredients. First courses: paccheri with pistachio pesto and tonnarelli cacio e pepe. These too were very flavorful and balanced. My only complaint about the cacio e pepe: perhaps the pasta was a little too salty, but that can happen. Dessert: tiramisu. Delicious and balanced, with a light amaretto flavor that adds an unexpected kick. Wine by the glass, water, coffee, and liqueurs. We spent €65 for two, and honestly, I thought it was very reasonable, given the quality of the ingredients and the service.
29/12/2025: I'd give the tonnarelli cacio e pepe a personal eight. Both the wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and quick. The information on what to see in Penne was helpful. I highly recommend Osteria del Leone.

16/12/2025: I was very satisfied with everything, namely the location which seemed small from the outside but inside is spacious and modern with several tables, two waitresses albeit a little funny but quick and friendly and the raw and cooked appetizers were excellent... I will definitely come back to try the other courses as well as the mixed fried fish.
30/11/2025: Disappointing!!! I got takeaway seafood gnocchi for €13 in a paper bag with calamari, clams, and scampi. Lots of fish-flavored sauce with a few clams and calamari strips, not even a shell 🤦‍♀️ miserable!!!! .... 😡
