Le Grottelle In Capri

We had a fantastic evening on August 15th. First of all, the panoramic walk to get to the location is wonderful. Among the streets of Capri that go up to the Natural Arch, stopping to chat with some of the island's inhabitants. The view of the Natural Arch and the Amalfi coast is breathtaking before the final descent to the restaurant. Nice, homely welcome, courtesy and empathy with the customer. Mrs. Rosa who is waiting at the entrance near the kitchen and allows us for the photo, a chat with Mr. Luigi who tells us how he organized the reservations this year. A wonderful table overlooking the sea. Patient and kind waiters. They don't stop for a second. The atmosphere is one of sober elegance. We ate a fried entree that melted in the mouth, half a pacchero, swordfish and aubergines, spaghetti with clams and courgette flowers, a slice of amberjack, sorbet served in lemon and delight. Drank a Rose prosecco. The evening was spectacular due to the presence of a folk group who enlivened the dinner with music and dance. UNFORGETTABLE. All of Capri talks about this place and we also saw it from the sea during the day on the boat. It can't be missed. Book it well in advance.

great place. Traditional cuisine and in relation to how well known the place is and consequently is touristy, I would say well done. Enchanting location. Prices quite high in relation to what you eat, but correct when compared to Capri and how characteristic this place is. Highly recommended.

A unique place on Capri, with a terrace facing the sea, beautiful. Typical dishes, very good appetizers (aubergine parmigiana), among the first courses I recommend spaghetti with seafood.

Historic venue, magical atmosphere

Mientras estábamos en Capri decidimos alejarnos de la zona turística y dimos un paseo, un largo paseo como resultó pero con unas vistas estupendas. Finalmente llegamos a Le Grottelle. es un gran escenario con fantásticas vistas. No habíamos reservado una mesa, así que nos quedamos a tomar algo. Es importante saber que no puede sentarse en el comedor exterior y simplemente tomar una copa. Tienen una pequeña terraza con tres mesas si solo quieres una copa. La comida que vimos se veía genial. Tomar una copa en este local cuesta diez euros. Gran lugar para tomar una copa con vistas.

Poor service, they did not want our business. View ok. 6 employees doing nothing and looking at us eating. We asked for a high chair and never brought it

Posto incantevole, qualità del cibo buonissima e servizio eccellente con personale molto simpatico. Sopra ogni cosa il peperone ripieno e i mezzi paccheri ai fiori di zucca e le vongole.
