We rated a 5 straight across as the location is STUNNING and worth the walk - even though the restaurant is closed for the season (until March)

great place. Traditional cuisine and in relation to how well known the place is and consequently is touristy, I would say well done. Enchanting location. Prices quite high in relation to what you eat, but correct when compared to Capri and how characteristic this place is. Highly recommended.

A unique place on Capri, with a terrace facing the sea, beautiful. Typical dishes, very good appetizers (aubergine parmigiana), among the first courses I recommend spaghetti with seafood.

Poor service, they did not want our business. View ok. 6 employees doing nothing and looking at us eating. We asked for a high chair and never brought it

Excellent food and service, truly exceptional. Tried many restaurants in Rome for more than a week, and I feel like this is the first Italian restaurant I’ve had since my visit. This was our first meal in Capri and I hope the other restaurants will be more like this. Excellent view, service, food and dessert. This is a must try if you are in Capri, we will visit again before we leave.

It was empty at lunchtime ☺️ I didn't have a reservation and I felt too much with my partner. Very good food but the waiter was stupid and we didn't feel welcome unfortunately. The view is incredible! Yet we took for almost 100 euros. $

Lovely atmosphere and view Decent view, better prices compared to the Capri center We were not happy with the recommendations in Capri overall, Le Grottelle was better than the others food and pricewise. The view is definitely good.

11/01/2025: The sandwiches, meatballs and chips are excellent. The place is small with a few tables and is furnished in manga style with a menu inspired by comic book characters.
16/10/2024: Really excellent food, excellent sandwiches and also the cutting boards, I didn't like the philosophy of not being able to modify the sandwiches closely and instead on Deliveroo you can compose your own sandwich otherwise impeccable

23/10/2024: Un endroit sympathique, simple et délicieux. L'accueil est agréable et attentionné. Et les petits déjeuners au top. Et pas cher du tout!
02/10/2024: We drank Aperol Spritz here. The drinks were very good and, at €6, cheaper than in the Tourigassen. With the drinks you are also given plenty of free snacks (olives, peanuts, chips). The owners are also extremely friendly. We'd love to come back! Grace!
