The food was really good and the prices not too bad for Capri. Unfortunately the head waiter was very rude to me, to the extent when I thought I had personally offended him (I didn't though). That really soured the experience. The view was amazing though.

What a place! Stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the piazza, you'll find Le Grottelle, a place where you'll find warmth and a sense of home. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the rabbit cacciatore is a must-try, as are the grilled mozzarella and many other specialties. We were also lucky to have dinner in the front row, with a lunar eclipse. I hope to visit again, because it's a place that will stay in your heart.

Found this for lunch whilst walking to the Arco Naturale.
Brilliant location and stunning views. The walk from Capri's main town meant that it was far less hectic than restaurants there. Great service. Cannot remember what we ate but it was good. The cost, cannot remember how much, (my wife paid), but it seemed quite reasonable compared to prices at Capri's quayside.

Le Grottelle is definitely worth the hike into the outskirts of Capri town. Views and food are both great. We had a discrepancy with our reservation and it seemed like the server and the staff treated us differently than others, which was disappointing bc the food and view were both lovely. Anyways, we didn’t let it ruin our time and the meal was still enjoyable nonetheless.

We're incredibly surprised that anyone has any bad things to say about this restaurant. We arrived without a reservation and were very attentively served by a gentleman who spoke Italian (duh), English, French, and German! The man always paid attention to whether we needed anything. The reviews that say it's very expensive here haven't done any research on Capri. This is by far the only place near Capri Town that's still somewhat affordable, but also delivers a fantastic experience. Every euro spent here is a delight for the palate, both in terms of wine and food!

I recommend this spot for lunch so you can enjoy the sea view. Friendly staff seated us without a reservation. The prices are in line with Capri restaurants, but I expected better quality food. The spaghetti sciue sciue was very basic and had a bitter aftertaste, while the mussels were average. They charge for the view, but you might want to try it if you're near the Natural Arch.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und haben auf der Terrasse mit Meeresblick zu Abend gegessen. Hervorzuheben ist der sehr gute, schnelle und freundliche Service. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, die Karte vielseitig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angemessen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
