A Perfect Roman Dinner Experience
My wife, our baby, and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Le Grotte. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, especially toward our little one.
The food was fantastic — we had traditional Roman dishes that were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The pasta was fresh, the wine selection was excellent, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending to a great meal. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, yet relaxed enough for a family.
It’s not easy finding a place that feels right for both adults and kids, but Le Grotte got it just right. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Rome!

Lugar agradable para el almuerzo. Nos sentamos al aire libre, ya que el tiempo era agradable. Teníamos alcachofas romanas, pollo con patatas asadas y ternera con patatas batidas (el mejor de los dos platos). Buen servicio. Ten en cuenta que si compras vino por copa, aparentemente lo vierten dentro del restaurante, no en la mesa.

A fantastic place, elegant but not pretentious. Beautiful atmosphere, kind and welcoming staff, excellent service, not to mention the dishes. I ate an excellent carbonara. I recommend the meat and especially the artfully fried stuffed courgette flower. My favourite place in Rome. I forgot: the prices are absolutely affordable, considering that it is a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna and for the quality it offers. Highly recommended

The place offers delicious food, it is one of the most delicious carbonaras I have eaten in Italy, they offer a wide variety of wines and the atmosphere of the place is very cozy. The waiter who served us was friendly at all times and treated us excellently; Only the guy at the entrance was a little hostile, but from then on everything is excellent 👌

This was our second time at Le Grotte, had the chance to visit it last year as well. Food is great as expected, tried a pasta with guanciale and it was delicious, wine was also great.
Our server was very kind and respectful.
Only thing that I did not like was the look that a young server gave me when meeting me at the door, a judgy look (up and down), if I hadn't already known the restaurant and how good the food was, I would have left, tried to forget that bad experience , our server was very kind and helpful so he made it a better experience.

The restaurant is located in the center of Rome and its interior is very beautiful with romantic corners for a dinner for two. The quality of the dishes chosen was good but from how it was presented to me I expected higher quality. The service did not satisfy me as they forgot more things that we requested.

Locale tipico della tradizione romana,il fiore di zucca fritto da manuale.
Location molto bella,con caminetto a riscaldar in queste fredde ma non troppo serate invernali romane,pare poesia.
Staff veloce e gentile.
Unico appunto da persona che lavora nella ristorazione,quella ottima carbonara,a mio gusto l’avrei preferita su un piatto rispetto al padellino ,magari la prossima volta la chiederò non sapendo della cosa.
Ci tornerò sicuramente comunque.
