Una piacevolissima sorpresa! Conosco il posto da anni ma non mi era mai capitato di venirci a pranzo. Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno insieme al mio compagno e abbiamo preso un tagliere misto come antipasto con gnocco fritto e salumi), a seguire gnocchi al gorgonzola con polvere di caffè e costolette di agnello, dolci: tiramisù e crostata chiusa di pesche e amaretto. Tutti i piatti erano buonissimi. Tornerò sicuramente per provare gli altri piatti. Servizio veloce e attento e prezzo in linea con la zona e appropriato alla qualità. Consigliatissimo!

Booked in this restaurant, at the time of booking, I ask how they were doing with gluten-free cuisine.
Answer:
We have gluten-free first courses and second courses.
Me: very happy for my daughter.
We get there and let the waiter know about the celiac person..
At a certain point after the waiter had explained everything to my daughter,
She could only eat 1 second course of meat, and not even one of the first courses... given that there were 3 types of risotto on the menu and my daughter couldn't eat any of the 3...
With gluten free I would say zero rating...

Not a bad restaurant! Indeed excellent! Varied cuisine, we enjoyed risotto with ossi buco and venison with polenta.
Appreciated the lightness of the dishes, not at all difficult to digest.
Applause for the service, very kind, normal prices, congratulations!

A very nice place, in a particular and I would even say romantic place 😍
Waiters very present and attentive to the customer
the food was generally good, the only flaw was the excess of salt, unfortunately not in one dish but in both dishes even though they were completely different!!
the worst was the gentleman at the cash desk, who instead of appreciating the compliments on everything else, reacted like someone who doesn't accept advice by looking at us badly without even thanking us for the compliments on the total
However, I would have given it 5/5 if he had behaved in a more polite and nicer manner!

We stopped by for lunch at 3pm. They welcomed us with a plate of cured meats and fried gnocco. We then took the typical Epiphany dessert (pastry with camel-shaped custard). All very good

Historic venue in Varese. Very nice interior and very nice tables. There were 10 of us with 2 children and I must say that we had a really good time. We ate both pizza (good) and cooked food (the polenta dishes are really recommended.
The service was really friendly and helpful
