Le Gîte aux Marroniers In Etroubles

The dishes in this characteristic restaurant in the streets of Etroubles were very good, the service was good, the waitress was kind.

Excellent food in a characteristic place with attention to detail. The waitress is attentive, kind and really friendly. The dishes are tasty (note of merit for the souppe!). The bill is honest.

In a very characteristic and welcoming place we enjoyed an excellent tartiflette and an exquisite local soup (the recipe of which was also revealed to me ;) with a side dish of tasty buttered potatoes, all accompanied by a good glass of wine. I recommend the house dessert, a cold zabaglione served with biscuits. Assorted menu for all tastes and fast and polite service. Reservation recommended. Last but not least, the village of Etroubles is a little gem :)

Beautiful interior room. Excellent food: varied and abundant cheese platter, delicious venison garganelli, pork cheek with very tender potatoes and tasty eggnog with tiles! Top wine, perhaps a bit expensive given the lack of house wine.

A pleasant surprise! We stayed at the campsite next door and decided to have dinner here and it was certainly one of the most authentic Italian meals I've had in all of Italy! Recommend 100%!
