Good morning, I'm Barbara, the barista and waitress at Le Dolci Fatiche. I'm writing this not to argue, but to respond directly to Mrs. Filomena Barbato, who mentioned my name in a recent report. Having worked in a bar for years, I know only too well that it can happen, unfortunately, that a cup still bears lipstick marks. This happens because some types of lipstick are really difficult to remove completely, even in the dishwasher, and must be scrubbed off by hand. When we noticed this, we immediately apologized, replaced the cup, and served a new coffee. Subsequently, the lady complained that the second cup was also "dirty," when in reality it was simply a slightly worn cup—not broken, just worn. It happens in everyday bars. In the end, the lady didn't pay for either coffee, taking advantage of the situation. However, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to visit us at Le Dolci Fatiche: taste our desserts, drink our coffee, and judge with your own eyes and heart. I put my face, passion, and smile into it every day. Those who know me know this. It saddens me to see a young and beautiful person express herself with so much anger and bitterness. We had the brioche with crema and chocolate and another brioche with ham and lettuce with two ginseng coffees, and it was really good. The place was clean and the staff were super friendly. The seating area was very cozy. Will be a new favorite for me now💕
