We went to the Osteria Agricol e Vitale, located on one of Bologna's most beautiful squares, next to the Basilica of San Stefano. The welcome was standard and not very warm, and the waiters couldn't have cared less about the customers and were annoyed by the tourists—what a shame! We had only come in the afternoon for a drink.

On March 27, 2026, we celebrated our daughter's graduation, choosing an aperitif with cold cuts and cheese platters, pizza, focaccia, and various appetizers. We also had two first courses, lasagna, and tortellini with parmesan cream. Everything was delicious! The waitresses were kind and knowledgeable, and my compliments to the chef! Shout out to Tiziana, the manager of the Osteria, who made a great impression on us right away, which turned out to be true! Thank you so much to all of you.

We discovered it by chance, and it was all delightful. From the food—we tried the traditional lasagna and the vegetable lasagna, both very good and well-prepared—to the impeccable and friendly service. The outdoor tables overlooking the little square were also very pleasant.

The food was very good, but nothing extraordinary. I would have liked to give the service 5 stars for its friendliness, but unfortunately we had to wait a really long time for our food. The place is very welcoming, perhaps better for an aperitif or after-dinner drink.
