Le Delizie di Gialau In Montagnana

We were on an unplanned visit to Montagnana returning from holidays, we stopped for lunch on Saturday 10th August, three of us, my son and I took the complete menu, my wife appetizer and first course, it was a delight, everything, mixed cheese platter and cured meats, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and second courses of wild boar stew and porchetta both excellent, on the menu there is a choice between 5/6 first courses and 5/6 second courses, we will return to taste more and also buy in the delicatessen, last but not least the team he was very kind and with each course the origin and peculiarities of the dishes ordered were explained to us, we were very satisfied, congratulations and see you next time.

After taking a walk in Montagnana we decided to have lunch at GiaLau, we ate really well (cold first and second courses), very good prices, we will definitely be back.

Ci siamo fermati quasi per caso a pranzo in questo ristorante… salumi locali (soppressata e prosciutto) veramente eccezionali. Ottimi anche i secondi (porchetta e cinghiale). Signore che ci ha serviti veramente gentilissimo !!!! Prezzo onestissimo

On the cathedral square under the arcades there is this delicatessen which also has a restaurant room. Appetizer with cured meats and cheeses and super homemade tripe! Friendly and helpful staff.

Second time for lunch. Second time I confirm what I wrote 8 months ago. So everything is excellent. I returned to Montagnana with immense pleasure with a friend only to have lunch at the Delizie di GiaLau and to greet Gianni and Laura the owners and Mario with immense pleasure. I thank them publicly, not only for the excellent food, but for their hospitality. I will come back again!
