Good food and normal prices, friendly and efficient!

I don't usually write reviews but this time I feel it's my duty. Fast and welcoming service, generous and above all excellent portions and finally prices that are not at all high. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied with the food, excellent quality. In particular we appreciated the kindness and advice of the owner who is always attentive and thoughtful towards customers as well as the dining room staff. Super recommended

We ate on the terrace, a very generous starter, they say it's for one but it's fine for 2 people, the portion of the first course was gigantic and very good and the second courses were the same, plus the prices were absolutely honest, I highly recommend it

In a semi-desolate Todi in mid-July, in the historic center of the restricted traffic area, there is this restaurant and pizzeria with a "fake" entrance on Piazza Jacopone, that is, what you see as the entrance in the photo is not the real one but they make you enter a alley on the right near the 4-star hotel next door from where, via an internal route between tables used as an indoor restaurant, you reach an outdoor terrace made up of two rooms that overlook a small square below where other venues also play live music. Two people without a reservation were given a table straight away, we were practically the first to enter. Courtesy and kindness of table service with care. We ordered 2 excellent pizzas, a beer, a water, a dessert. All 34 euros. They accept all types of payment, it is advisable to book. For those who don't know where to dine in Todi and are wandering around like us for the first time looking for a place to eat, I would definitely go here. To reach the historic center via restricted traffic zone, it is best to park in Piazzale Orvetana from where a free minibus leaves every 20 minutes until midnight.

We went to “Le Cisterne” last Saturday for lunch, also consulting the positive reviews on the internet. The restaurant is excellent, elegant and welcoming, located in the lower rooms of a period building adjacent to the historic center. We ordered several land and sea dishes: generous portions, tasty and quality food. We also greatly appreciated the service, provided by dining room staff who were attentive to satisfying our every request, including the care and attention given to a friend of ours with food intolerances. The same evening we returned for a hearty round of pizza (wood-fired) on the wonderful panoramic terrace. Contrary to travel plans, we also stopped for lunch on Sunday. For the menu of the day we let ourselves be advised by the people. owner, Mrs. Romina: fully satisfied, also for the excellent quality/price ratio. We will be back!

Truly amazing seafood food. The appetizer (salmon, squid and marinated octopus) was huge(!), in fact like the entire dinner course. Fish soup and risotto with shrimps - delicious. Moreover, everything was served quickly and with a smile. Wine by the glass - delicious and plenty of it. The entire set cost 48 euros. The only thing missing was the weather, so we sat in some random room with one small window. But clean and tidy. If you're fed up with spaghetti and gnocci, you can go here blindly.

We ended up in Todi yesterday for a visit to the city and we discovered this pizzeria restaurant by chance and we enjoyed it so much that today from Assisi, we wanted to go back to eat the pizza, truly fantastic in terms of taste and choice of raw materials. Our favorite is the "le cisterna", white base, fior di latte, courgette cream, crispy bacon, pecorino and courgettes. I highly recommend it, honest prices, friendly service, never intrusive and despite the number of users, quite fast. Trust a local guide 👍

A slightly unusual entrance, it seems like entering a restaurant "not for everyone" but inside everything is Top! Top service, top courses, top prices too. I hadn't left a restaurant in a while, so satisfied!
