It was a pleasure to dine, the atmosphere was private and quiet, the dishes were carefully prepared and of excellent quality, and the service was attentive.

Visited this hard to find diamond of piemont soul food. Tasty mixed plate and special local bread. Best risotto ever, great wine mixed with an ambiance of love. Grazie mille!

An excellent find just a stone's throw from Alessandria. In a friendly, homey atmosphere, you can enjoy refined and attentive cuisine. The manager is courteous and professional. The risottos are fantastic, especially the ones with chicken livers, and the other dishes on the menu are equally as delicious. Recommended!

Welcoming place, attentive, and courteous service from the owner. My only complaint is the lack of sauces—few, too few—drops of mustard with the excellent tartare and really just a teaspoon of anchovy sauce with peppers. The same goes for the few caramelized onions with the foie gras. The risottos were stellar, and the dessert was excellent. Next time, knowing this, I'll ask for more sauce, because it's worth it anyway.

Agriturismo Foresteria La Merlina

17/11/2025: I can only say we had a wonderful Sunday, despite the adverse weather. A delicious truffle-based menu with carefully prepared, delicious, and locally sourced dishes. The welcome was special and the atmosphere very warm. We recommend staying here for the weekend too, taking advantage of the Foresteria's immaculately maintained rooms. Thanks again!
23/10/2025: I visited the property for lunch but I had the opportunity to see the rooms and the enormous work they do to create a high-level farmhouse, with excellent food and service in a truly beautiful setting.

Antica Trattoria Mascon

15/02/2026: We were looking for a restaurant to eat on our way back to Milan, and venturing off the highway, we came across Trattoria Mascon. We were greeted with a smile and enjoyed delicious food! I think it will become a regular stop on our way back from Liguria!
29/01/2026: At this trattoria, the attention to detail and the deliciousness of its dishes make it a must-visit when passing through Arquata. The menu changes every time, and each time is a pleasant surprise. The staff is cheerful and friendly. Highly recommended.
