Everything very good, fast service.

The restaurant is located right in the heart of Arezzo. It's beautifully decorated, although I'd honestly avoid putting disposable paper placemats on the table. They could easily be removed, and a cutlery rest would be enough on the wooden tables, which are very pleasant in themselves. The service deserves top marks. My compliments. Overall, a truly enjoyable evening.

The Florentine steak was amazing, the Cremant d'Alsace was not up to par... The fish dishes were also good, and the staff were professional and friendly.

We keep comparing other restaurants in Italy to our lunch here and Le Chiavi D’Oro consistently wins. Flavorful, inventive dishes, great wine cellar, elegant space, and friendly service, all without Michelin-style pretentiousness. Recommend to anyone looking for a special meal in Arezzo.

A Memorable Dinner in Piazza San Francesco We had dinner here while staying in Arezzo, following a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Outdoor seating wasn’t available, but we were seated inside right away. The space was elegant—warm lighting, beautiful details, and a calm, refined atmosphere. At first, we weren’t sure if it would be the right fit since we were with our young son and teenagers, and the restaurant is Michelin-rated. But we stayed, and we’re so glad we did. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful in walking us through the menu. It’s divided into three sections, and they suggest two dishes per person. Only my husband followed that, starting with the steak tartare, which was excellent. We all had pasta dishes, and every one was incredible. I had the duck tagliatelle with ragù—delectable and made with rich precision. The flavors were deep and comforting. Our vegetarian guest had the ravioli and savored every bite. Each dish felt intentional and beautifully prepared, without being overdone. It was a quiet, elegant dinner. If you’re looking for more of a lively scene, the patio might be better. But if you want a relaxed, elevated evening with thoughtful food and a great bottle of wine, dining inside is a perfect choice. Highly recommend.

Ristorante elegante nel pieno centro storico di Arezzo, Le Chiavi d’Oro offre una cucina che adatta la cucina tradizionale al gusto contemporaneo mescolando prodotti e preparazioni provenienti da tutta la penisola con l’intento di creare una cucina delicata ma ricca di sapori. Ho trovato buono il carciofo ripieno con crema di carciofi, fonduta di parmigiano e topinambur croccante, cosi’ come la guancetta in lenta cottura con foie gras, agretti e sedano e la crema di mascarpone con fragole. Il piatto migliore è stato pero’ il primo, i ravioli ripieni di amatriciana con crumble di nduja, provola e broccoli. Il tutto accompagnato da una discreta barbera.
