Such a quaint place that locals love and i see why as the service is friendly, the food is delicious and their roman pizzas are Amazing!

A charming place with a very friendly and witty waiter. Initially, they brought us a liter of water and bread as a snack, but then charged us about €15 for it. The food was mediocre.

Quality Italian food, I suggest having the cabinara its amazing. Restaurant has Italian patrons and Italian waiters - not a tourist trap, surprised to see bad reviews, mostly complaining about surcharges to pay the waiters who are locals not migrant workers.... food is awesome at reasonable prices. The restaurant included a free starter and type of bread with the main. Had a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine and espressos for 2 people costing only €70. Its old school with hand written receipts, restaurant has been around for decades. Dont be misled by Idiotic reviewers, who dont value local waiters. Pictures on the wall of significant patrons include Bill Clinton, trump family etc...

Of all the times I've visited Rome, I've never eaten so badly. We had seen this restaurant several times and were eager to try it. We'd been eating pasta and pizza for days and were craving something lighter. We sat down and ordered some vegetables. The only thing that halfway convinced us was the eggplant, but it turned out to be a bad choice, as all the vegetables had been cooked hours before and were simply reheated and served. We ordered a cheese board, thinking that would be easy to do well, but it was also a disaster. They presented us with a plate of poorly arranged pieces of cheese. The only good things were the toasted bread and the wine we ordered. We also complained because the bill didn't clearly show the dishes; they charged us, but we didn't know what each item was. Despite our complaints, they didn't give us an explanation. I have to say, the poor waiters do their best. They seemed professional, but they're managed by bosses who don't care about customer satisfaction. In short, it's a shame because this place has a prime location and professional waiters, but the quality is terrible and the bills aren't transparent. Never again.
