Le Cave del Ceppo In Trezzo sull'adda

I visited Cave del Ceppo for a company lunch, and overall, the experience was truly positive. The agriturismo is nestled in the greenery of the Adda Park: outside, in addition to a large garden, there's also a small farm with various animals—horses, cows, donkeys, and goats—very well-kept and clean. It's a well-kept and pleasant space, ideal for strolling between courses, chatting with colleagues, and taking a break from the table. Parking is ample and convenient, and access is easy even for those arriving in groups with multiple cars. The atmosphere is typical of a agriturismo: rustic tables, a casual yet refined atmosphere, perfect for creating a relaxed atmosphere even in a business setting. The cuisine is traditional Lombard/Italian, with appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, first courses like risotto and ravioli, meat-based second courses, and simple side dishes. In our case, the set menu designed for the group was appreciated by everyone: the two first courses, a risotto and ravioli (scarpinocc), were both very good; the second course, a classic tagliata with arugula and parmesan, was a great success, thanks to the tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked meat. The initial portions weren't particularly generous, but the service offered additional options several times, allowing everyone to leave the table fully satisfied. We were pleased with the attention paid to dietary needs during the lunch program: vegetarian, vegan, and celiac options are available, as well as solutions for various intolerances and allergies. A crucial aspect when organizing a business lunch with many people. The organization of the dining room was impeccable: regular service times, well-paced dishes, efficient staff, present but never intrusive. In short, an excellent choice for an informal yet well-organized business lunch, where you want to spend a few hours in a green setting, ensure everyone eats well (even those with special needs), and have the feeling of a short "day out" without straying too far from Milan.

A quaint location with the opportunity to see various animals in a well-kept setting. The menus vary, with prices depending on the number of courses and dishes. They're organized a bit "military," and this left me a bit perplexed, as you can only go by reservation and after having (the entire table) clearly defined the menu (which should be the same for everyone, but I've noticed some flexibility). The result is incredible efficiency, topped with uncommon kindness. A slight change and attention to the menu (for example, the risotto, which is a bit too "liquid," and the onions galore in the appetizer, rather than the meat that accompanies the polenta) should, in my opinion, be made. The place isn't for couples who want to hold hands, as the tables can be heard, but overall, it's a nice place where you feel comfortable, at a fair price, and I'd return.

My mother wanted to try this Agriturismo to celebrate her 60th birthday, and every expectation was fully met (if not exceeded), right from the first point of contact: the reservation. The staff was both helpful and friendly; I think I tasted the best and freshest casoncelli I've ever eaten; and the perfect finishing touch was the location, immersed in the warmth of nature and the animals. Everyone is very young, but always smiling and eager to work and satisfy the customer. The food...well, what can I say, delicious to say the least. We've been back and will be back. We found this venue on this website. Let's start by saying they're incredibly well-prepared to accommodate every request! We wanted a simple reception, without too many frills, with quality food, where guests could feel free to enjoy themselves without the "burden" of the venue. Well, we were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent (we still dream about beef tortelli with parmesan cream), and the options for vegans, vegetarians, celiacs, and all kinds of intolerances were also excellent! Everything was truly excellent! From the wine to the dessert, from the aperitif to the main course! The venue is fantastic, allowing you to celebrate your wedding with every possible touch thanks to its huge park. We had the ceremony in the woods, it was like a fairytale! We opted for a child-free reception, but there's plenty of space for kids to play, completely safe from cars and other dangers, and there are plenty of animals to cuddle. 🥰 We interacted with Raffaele, who was there for us from start to finish. We never felt abandoned; he was incredibly helpful. We loved him so much. 😂 Nothing went wrong!

The service is one star less, but it's impeccable. They're a bit strict with the rules, but that's appreciated because things work well. The outlet isn't well-maintained, meaning it takes a while to get help with your purchases. I love their products, and sometimes I haven't been able to get them. Anyway, it's truly worth it overall.
