I discovered Cafe Vert almost by chance, and it's since become one of my go-to places in Monteverde. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with staff always smiling and helpful, something I've often found in online reviews. Breakfast is probably my favorite time: the cappuccino is creamy and carefully prepared, while the selection of croissants and artisanal pastries is truly extensive. I've tried the desserts in the display case several times, and I've always been impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The place is also a great choice for a quick lunch break or an evening aperitif. The menu changes frequently, there are vegetarian options, and the selection of wines and appetizers is interesting without being boring. Many customers appreciate the variety of options and the convivial atmosphere that reigns throughout the day. What keeps me coming back time and time again, however, is the attention to detail: the staff manages to be professional without being cold, and often a simple exchange of words is enough to make them feel at ease. It's a classic neighborhood spot that makes you feel like a regular, even if you only visit occasionally. If I had to find a flaw, it might be a bit difficult to find a table outside during busy hours, but overall, the quality of the food and the atmosphere more than make up for this small inconvenience. For those looking for a good coffee, a delicious breakfast, or an aperitivo in a quiet area of ​​Rome, I'd happily recommend it.

Siamo arrivate a Roma stanche dopo un lungo volo, senza nemmeno aver fatto una doccia — e il primo posto dove siamo entrate è stato questo bar. Good coffee and a good selection of croissants and breakfast items, as well as a great meeting place for an excellent aperitif in the evening with exceptional wines. Well done. After years of frequenting, I reiterate my more than positive opinion on all fronts, from breakfast to aperitifs.

Beautiful location, I would say a lot of appearance but little substance, cappuccinos and croissants decidedly ordinary but at above-average prices.

€9 for a cocktail in Monteverde is excessive (the same price applies downtown). I won't be returning to this bar.

Very polite and friendly a real gem where we can feel like a local (even if you’re not!) definitely a wonderful place to try and price was fantastic, two coffees and two croissants for €5!
