Le Barbatelle Wine Bar In Bevagna

We arrived somewhat by chance and were greeted by two very friendly and helpful people. The food was truly excellent, with great attention to our food intolerances, and it wasn't expensive. We had baked zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, scamorza fritters with tomato sauce, baked pork belly with green beans and mozzarella on a baked vegetable salad with basil sauce. Honestly, it's hard to decide which dish was the best, because they were all excellent. We ate outside, but the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. A truly excellent experience, in every way. Thank you.

We stopped at this little restaurant by chance for dinner and were pleasantly surprised because the food was truly delicious and the owner was incredibly friendly. We had the pleasure of chatting with him, and he explained that all his products are seasonal and fresh. Thank you for the wonderful dinner!

The best meat in terms of quality and cooking in the area, Guillermo the boy in service was very good and kind... 2 nights out of 2 excellent rating.

Stopped in for lunch, inside was busy but we took a table in the shaded patio area. Having been eating in Umbria for a few weeks it was nice to see a menu with a lot of vegetables: nice salad, vegetable frittata with side salad, also egg with summer truffle. Service seemed a bit off, but may have just been overly busy and them sorting out their new location.

Great aperitif in the small village of Bevagna!

I didn't know the place. We chose bruschetta, simple but tasty; truly delicious and delicate chickpea hummus; deviled eggs with agretti, a very successful combination; finally, baked courgette flowers with ricotta and cherry tomatoes, a pleasant and fresh dish. We were very satisfied. The open kitchen is beautiful.

I brought some friends last night and we were undecided between dinner and an aperitif... the very kind waiter, as well as his colleagues, gave us a hand in choosing starting from the aperitif as a base and then letting us move on to dishes that had intrigued us. We were on the little square....a bit of a slope, but the waiter still made sure we were comfortable. House wine, Trebbiano, very pleasant. Quality food and a lot of balance in the dishes. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
