Very good food, great atmosphere. Delicious wild boar dish. Very friendly and helpful service. Perfect place for a quiet Italian evening with the family. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Volterre.

A pleasant discovery this evening, outside the city center. Very friendly staff. We had the stewed wild boar, which was truly delicious. Excellent value for money. Recommended!

Pizzeria La ROsa

25/09/2025: This is a delightful roadside restaurant with excellent food. The staff were lovely and welcoming to my wife and I, even though we didn't have reservations and it was later in the evening. Though we were in the mood for just pizza and wine, La Rosa does offer a full menu. The pizza was excellent, with thin crust that had a crisp bottom and some char at the edges, and the menu offered more varieties and combinations of toppings than perhaps any restaurant we have visited in Rome and Tuscany over a two week holiday. This simple meal of pizza and wine turned out to be one of our favorite nights of the trip due to the kind staff, relaxed local atmosphere, and great pizza. Grazie!
24/09/2025: Very good food: appetizers, seafood salad, first courses, and pizza. Friendly and competent restaurateurs. The girls serving tables, Ester & Cristina, are VERY nice, smiling, and cheerful. Congratulations to everyone!
