I found this restaurant by chance, but it was a great experience. It's a very simple family-run restaurant with fresh fish and home-cooked food.

Quaint restaurant in the heart of Albenga's old town, often frequented by locals. Very friendly service, who even saved a table for us even though we hadn't reserved. The lasagna was delicious and good value for money. Beautiful interior and very clean. We'd love to come back next year.

We went there twice this week, and the food and wine were excellent. The first time we had a set menu, today we only had antipasto and pizza. We were very satisfied both times. The staff were super friendly, and despite the busy place, it was quick service. If we come back to Albegna, we'll definitely stop here again.

If you're looking for good, affordable food in Albinga, this is the place to go. Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly. You can get a bottle of Barolo for €25, and the most expensive pizza is €8. Great place. I would also recommend the goat skewers.

We ate very well (very good mussels, excellent fried food, and truly sublime pasta with clams) and the prices were reasonable. I recommend trying it!

18/10/2025: I've been to Osteria Gattabuia and I must say it was a wonderful discovery! The setting is welcoming and refined, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The staff is extremely kind, always smiling and attentive to their guests' needs. The food is truly excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients and meticulously presented. I really enjoyed the orange linguine with clams and lemon pesto—simply delicious! Excellent value for money. In conclusion, a place I'll definitely return to and one I recommend to anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a pleasant experience in Albisola.
