Really good service and aperol spritz. If you go just before it closes they have happy hour on where the aperols cost 6.5 euros and you get a very big portion of crisps! We also had croissants in the morning and they were fresh and tasty and very cheap Definitely worth a visit for morning pastries or for an aperol before dinner.

Very good service, very tasty food, waitress is very kind. Perfect location at the side of Basilica of Saint Mary Major. We enjoyed house white wine, Spaghetti allo scoglio, Spaghetti Carbonara, Fettuccine con zucchine. Perfect!

Next to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, perfect for a quick stop to eat fresh pasta. They have little variety but enough: good pasta base with a variety of sauces, ingredients, etc. Attentive and fast service. Tried the Messina beer, with salt crystals, which I recommend in any restaurant in Rome. The only thing, for which I have put a two in service, is that there are no services, toilets, which when you are walking around Rome is necessary.

09/05/2025: All’inizio non si era capito bene che si chiamava heco trastevere, infatti il vero nome è Romì. La pizza niente era buona ma è arrivata in ritardo.
28/02/2025: We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Héco and it was the best experience ever! I really enjoyed the day as the owner had such a special attention to all the details. It was a surprise party and he has been amazing managing the situation with all the 60 invites. The food was lovely and in a great quantity! Drinks were also very nice and the bill was absolutely in line with the quality of the service. Not too expensive at all. I had an amazing experience also throughout the few months of preparation to the event. My contact point was really good at managing all my requests! I really enjoyed celebrating this big event at Héco!
