Lunch with friends on a bright day in early December, amidst the first Christmas decorations. The experience at Latteria di Verona was extraordinary: a welcoming little restaurant with an open kitchen, a platter of amazing cured meats accompanied by sauces and homemade Apulian bread, a generous portion of braised cheek on a bed of mashed potatoes that was worthy of applause... and of course, I chose the millefeuille, irresistible. All this was accompanied by the kindness and courtesy of the staff. I can't help but rave about it and already think about my next trip to Verona, with a mandatory stop at Latteria! 🥂

We went to Latteria Verona Ristorante and the experience was simply extraordinary. We ate wonderfully, from start to finish. For our appetizer, we chose the 24-month-aged Parma ham with burrata foam, basil pesto, and carasau bread: a perfect balance of flavors, delicate yet intense. Next, two truly memorable first courses: gnocchi with tomato and Apulian stracciatella, creamy and enveloping, and tagliolini with zucchini sauce, scampi tartare, and lime—a fresh, refined, and incredibly harmonious dish. All accompanied by an excellent wine recommended by the staff. The service deserves an A+: the waiters were extremely kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel pampered as if we were in a luxury restaurant. Even the simple gesture of pouring us water as soon as our glasses were empty demonstrated a truly rare level of customer care. The restaurant is elegant, romantic, and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner or a special evening. The price was also surprisingly fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the excellent service. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

Wonderful service, quality of food and atmosphere. The owner is extremely passionate about the food and it shows. We ate here twice on our 3 day visit to Verona. Wonderful slow braised, beef cheek, steak, Bruscetta, mouthwatering dessert, so light. Do try whilst you are here.
