Da non perdere la classica Granita ( a diversi gusti io scelto al caffè) con la briosche siciliana . Mi era stato consigliato come miglior locale storico di qualità e non avevano sbagliato il consiglio. Prezzi decisamente non esosi come in molti altri locali della città dove la qualità spesso non è paragonabile a quanto gustato in questo locale. Merita sicuramente ( e’ a pochi passi dalla partenza dei trenini barocco e bianco città di Modica)

Bar nel cuore di Modica, personale gentile e sorridente. Cremolata buonissima, gustosa e prodotti di qualità. Un posto da non perdere se passate nella meravigliosa Modica.

03/05/2025: Lunch to forget... pasta alla norma ok... But the tasting of rustici and scacce Modicane... dry and tasteless, almost spoiled, wrong menu (unfiltered beer from the Strait - the filtered one arrived) and without descriptions like the cover charge... For the rest the girls seem there to do the bare minimum... But oh well... I hope to return in the future and be able to re-evaluate my review
02/05/2025: The restaurant is out of the way in a tunnel like side street, it’s quite small with a few tables inside and out front. The food was a bit hit and miss - starters were fine (zucchini flowers with ricotta, scallops), but the primi ravioli with ricotta were quite tasteless and barely filled. The main course ‘burger’ with egg was just that meat with a fried egg and a small dollop of of cold mashed potatoes. Ordering a hamburger I expected more especially since it was 16€.

25/04/2025: We are local, so I can’t say anything about the hotel/rooms, since we had a family lunch in the restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the meat! But I didn't like the pasta. There were few waiters, all the tables were occupied, so we had to wait a long time. A little cramped, we sat back to back((which is probably why it was very noisy! The place is very beautiful, the restaurant is located on the hills, everything is green around! I think you can take a walk there after a hearty lunch.
02/03/2025: Lunch in company, all 7 of us were satisfied by a very welcoming environment and attention to detail. Exquisite cuisine for both first and second courses, precise and kind service. Well done!
