Lato B In Palermo

What a precious discovery this place was. Taking advantage of the warm evening, we chose to dine in the garden, really cute. The staff welcomed us very well and was present and helpful. The food was really excellent (be careful especially with the chickpea hummus with eggplant meatballs: it can be addictive), as well as the cocktails. We will definitely be back!

Really loved the meal we had here, we were given great advice on wine pairing and the service was excellent. I held back from five stars because the prices were a little high compared to comparable restaurants, and the cocktails weren’t quite the same standard as everything else. However given the popularity of the establishment you can see why that is the case.

My second visit while staying at hotel Tonic. Very welcoming environment with some of the greatest jazz from over the world. Nice seeing everyone, the Chef is great! Thank you for making last night very memorable.

Found by chance. It combines the refinement of starred restaurants with the brightness of the south.

I visited the Lato B restaurant with my partner, attracted by a friend's positive review. The retro and elegant atmosphere, with the stage for live concerts and the photographs of Jazz musicians and singers from the 40s and 50s on the walls, fascinated me to say the least. The welcome and kindness of the waitress was excellent, always attentive to detail. The dishes are excellent for the quality of the raw materials, the refined combinations of flavors and the presentation. The prices are in keeping with the excellent overall experience.

Si ritorna sempre, nei posti in cui si può godere di una cena con un’esplosione di attenzioni e buon gusto. Piatti interessanti, resi particolari, dalla mano femminile della chef Azzurra D'Arpa, che pur nella loro semplicità, conservano il rispetto delle materie prime di altissima qualità, e l attenzione alle esigenze del cliente. Nota dolente, l assenza di una carta vini, con presentazione a voce delle sole due cantine presenti, un solo metodo classico e due gradevoli prosecchi, imbarazzante doverne richiederne i prezzi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, soprattutto per la scontistica The Fork del 50 %

A lot of care, excellent proposals. Fast and attentive customer service. The list of wines that were proposed verbally was missing, which I think is inelegant because it seems rude to ask for the price that you then only see on the receipt (and in any case normal)

Positive experience at this restaurant, next to the Hotel delle Palme. The cook, fresh from a semi-final on Masterchef, demonstrates good skill, with the combination of local and non-local raw materials, with well-cooked and pleasantly presented dishes. Pleasant service, normal prices, the environment could be more refined.

Locale che si trova ad un livello inferiore al piano stradale (un po' come i pub anglosassoni) e forse anche per questo risulta un posto accogliente e raccolto. Tavoli apparecchiati in modo accurato, ma con tovaglieria di carta (ormai usanza abbastanza diffusa ma che personalmente non amo). Cibo molto buono, dagli antipasti al dolce, con porzioni giuste e tempi di attesa nella norma; personale cortese e simpatico. I prezzi dei piatti non sono proprio economici ma direi ormai in linea con qualsiasi altro locale del medesimo livello (noi comunque abbiamo ottenuto un buon risparmio prenotando con The Fork), mentre oggettivamente troppo alti mi sono sembrati quelli delle bevande e del coperto; un po' limitata la scelta del menù.
