Lato B In Palermo

Lato B is a place that has won the hearts of many locals and beyond! The food is simply divine, with well-crafted, high-quality dishes, like stuffed calamari, hummus, and panelle with shrimp and avocado cream. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, with jazz music and photographs of musicians from the '40s and '50s transporting you to another era. But what really makes the difference is the service: the staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer advice. And then there's Tiziano, whose warmth and kindness make the experience even more enjoyable 😊.

How do you decide to try a new restaurant when you are visiting Palermo for the first time? While out walking on our first night in this wonderful city we noticed the restaurant entrance, just a few steps from via Roma, and were greeted by the chef as she arrived for work with a large bag of potatoes. The entrance is not obvious, but the quality of the food is outstanding. Fresh local ingredients, local fresh fish, vegetables and Sicilian wines contributed to a satisfying meal. The building inside and out is noteworthy. We are back again for a second night, to try more of this imaginative menu. We only have one more night in Palermo..and it will be very tempting to come back again!

Phenomenal dinner! 5 star chef!!! Seafood & pastas cooked to perfection. We loved everything about it! The seductive lighting, the bar, then the hidden like, private dining rooms are classy old-school -the orignal Italian speakeasy club restaurants from when i was a kid. The owner goes above & beyond! Very sweet staff. Perfect date for a winter night, cuz its cozy, not loud, e no one can overhear your private chats..Comfy soft chairs & lounges, & beautiful, super clean bagno! Grazie!

Walking past Side B, I was intrigued by the aperitif menu outside, and since it looked like a nice place, I booked. When I saw the particularly interesting menu, I ordered à la carte, and it was a tasty surprise. The pairings may seem daring or unusual, but they're actually delicious! Like the panelle with avocado sauce and shrimp tartare, or the spaghetti with coconut tenerumi and shrimp. A special mention goes to the crème brulee with coconut and mango, and the chocolate ganache with salt flakes. The staff is courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is intimate, and the music is good. I'll definitely be back for the aperitif.

Excellent food, nice atmosphere, but we suffered from the cold. In a place where you pay so much, you're not allowed to make your customers feel cold, especially if it was already cold outside. Certainly, since we were the last guests at 11 pm, it was the manager's way of scaring us away.

A great restaurant and a great experience. Excellent service, the dishes surprised us with their flavors, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Highly recommended.

We booked by chance and it was a fantastic discovery! The atmosphere was very refined and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The cuisine was top-notch, with every dish truly delicious and balanced with unique flavor combinations. We'll definitely be back!
