This restaurant doesn't look much from the street but once you cross the porch you arrive in a wonderful interior courtyard. The servers are very pleasant. As for the cuisine, it has a wide choice of Sardinian specialties. All of their products are excellent. Special mention to the homemade gnocchi which are succulent but the dose is very generous. If you are passing through Sassari you have to take a look there.

Every year we come to Sardinia and there isn't a time that we don't go to Assassin, we eat very well, all typical food is good and in generous quantities.
This year the owner gave us some good wine as a gift
The service excellent
I recommend the place and on Thursday you will have dinner in the company of typical Sardinian music and songs, truly beautiful, for us it will always be an important culinary stop in Sardinia.

The place is very fresh, typical Sardinian ancient style. The first courses are quite abundant, especially the Sardinian gnocchi with sausage... but still very good. On the appetizer platter, in addition to the cured meats, there is a selection of cheeses including this smoked ricotta which was excellent!!

Really good QUANTITY/Price ratio. Sardinian dishes are varied. A little greasy. Do not take the menu at €28.50 for minimum 2 if you are small eaters, or ask for doggy bags. Little enthusiasm and kindness from our server.

Beautiful location and both indoors and in a courtyard in the center of Sassari. Excellent welcome, very kind staff and very courteous and helpful owner. We took a very satisfying and good Sardinian menu. Highly recommend if in the area 👍🏻👍🏻

Ci sono stato più volte e la qualità del cibo è veramente ottima, consiglio sicuramente il menù fisso per il prezzo e qualità. Peccato per il fatto che d'estate vengono allestiti i tavoli fuori, e a seconda delle temperature si soffre troppo il caldo.
Comunque ci tornerò sicuramente
