The food doesn't need an introduction. The restaurant has been there a lifetime, and they have mastered proper Sassari traditional dishes. The service, managed by three young ladies, is without any doubt the best you can get anywhere. They are attentive but not intrusive, make eye contact while interacting with the guests, and overall have an affable approach to the customers’ needs, a proper, chilled, professional restaurant experience rather than a feeding exercise, which is common in Italy. Really enjoyed.

Restaurant in the center of Sassari with typical Sassari cuisine. We ate at this restaurant over Easter. Intimate, characteristic place. All excellent. Courses we ate, praise for the Sassari style aubergines and snails.
The restaurant was fully booked, but the service was fast and well organised.
Fair price.
Widely recommended.

Il ristorante dispone di una sala interna rustica e intima e di un bellissimo patio esterno nella bella stagione. L’ambiente, così come il servizio, è autentico e senza fronzoli. I piatti sono quelli della tradizione sassarese: melanzane alla sassarese, monzette, lumache e via dicendo. Tutti di qualità, tutti buoni e saporiti, nessuno escluso. I prezzi sono nella media e a mio parere adeguati. All’assassino si va per mangiare tipico e con ricette originali, potrebbero perciò irrigidirsi alla richiesta di modifiche particolari alla qualità di aglio, di peperoncino o altri ingredienti intoccabili. E io sono d’accordo. Lo consiglio vivamente.
