L'Assassino In Sassari

What a discovery! I found this restaurant by chance, using my nose at Bracco. Everything was excellent. Truly Sardinian cuisine, also suitable for vegetarians, with their incredible Sassari-style aubergines and broad beans with fennel.

This restaurant in the center of Sassari is excellent for traditional Sardinian dishes. Reservations are recommended.

Excellent restaurant with a menu of exclusively Sardinian dishes. Very tasty and generous. A small, flower-filled courtyard, very pleasant, away from the noise of the city. Slight drawback: slow and unorganized service (discrepancy in the dishes). And a very unfriendly welcome. Worth the detour.

The owner and his wife are fantastic people, no fuss, no words, no poetry. The dishes speak for themselves. The food was divine, the place was extremely welcoming!! The bill??? Nothing to say. Everything was perfect!!!!

In a small alley in the center of Sassari, you'll find this restaurant. Upon entering, Carmelo welcomes you and, with his knowledgeable manner, recommends a variety of Sassari dishes. The portions are generous and truly delicious. I'll definitely be back! Special mention goes to chef Nina, who with her dedication creates delights for every palate.

We had dinner, and the food was truly excellent, both in quality and presentation. Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by some service-related issues: rather slow service, multiple repeated requests for certain courses, and an unpleasant incident involving coffee. We were initially told it wasn't being served, only to see it brought to other tables; only by asking another waiter were we able to get it. Overall, the staff seemed a bit disoriented and, at times, rude. A real shame, because the food is worth it, but the dining room management needs improvement to offer an experience worthy of the quality of the dishes.

Recommended by a bartender in the city center, we went for lunch at Osteria L'Assassino. The restaurant is located in one of the city's narrow streets, with an almost hidden entrance that leads to a small, intimate courtyard. Service is managed directly by the owners, with just a few people splitting time between the dining room and the kitchen. This means that welcoming and serving guests can be a bit slow, but the authentic atmosphere makes up for it. The menu is extensive and rooted in Sassari tradition: tripe, snails, culurgiones, and other typical local dishes. The dishes are tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients, although the rich and hearty local cuisine can be particularly challenging on hot days. The value for money is good, and overall the experience was pleasant: a place I would gladly return to immerse myself in the authentic flavors of Sassari.

A truly exceptional restaurant serving traditional Sassari cuisine. The dishes are not only delicious, but also plentiful, and the location is truly charming. I also recommend it to those with celiac disease and lactose intolerance, given the wide variety of dishes available.

Sono tornata perchè stavo sognando il maialetto dell'assassino... non delude mai! È già la terza volta che vengo qua e questa non sarà di certo l'ultima! Quando passeremo di nuovo da Sassari torneremo, questo è sicuro!
