The word bar is an understatement for this excellent venue. I have had lunch several times in this bistro and the cuisine is excellent, restaurant-style. The desserts are also excellent. I'm really amazed at the quality and price. Everything really good.. Compliments to the owner and the kitchen manager. Well done.

12/03/2024: Low, crunchy Roman-style pizza and tasty, different-than-usual fried foods. The service was very courteous, to apologize for the delay in arriving the pizzas, due to a particularly crowded evening, they offered us the chips first and the cake after. Definitely a place not only to try but to happily return to.

Next to the Tiber which will soon plunge into the sea, Vela e Cucina is like a second home for sailors and those who work in the area. But it is also an intimate place to spend a little time with your loved one. The dishes are simple and tasty and reflect the local seafood tradition. The environment is full of homages to the sea and the navy. The service was courteous and attentive. The price is really competitive. Good wind
