I have not tried the hotel service but as far as the restaurant is concerned, everything is top notch, a charming place with cellar-style brick sections with a very large display of wines and typical dishes, excellent quality of raw materials as well as the service, the price is good for the quality of the food eaten, recommended

I can only comment on the restaurant, as I haven't stayed there. Excellent food and service. Prices are in line with average. Knowledgeable staff, always present but never intrusive. Excellent wine recommendations. Well done!

A remarkable restaurant in every way! It's excellent, with perfectly mastered traditional cuisine and excellent service. Finally, the wine list and the expertise of its sommelier, Vladimir, make this a must-visit!

We've been to this restaurant twice, the first by chance and the second a year later to eat truffles. We've always had a wonderful time. The wine is excellent, the food even better, especially the meat.

A good restaurant in the Piedmont hills, in a village with a beautiful view. Reservations required, as it's a tourist area. Friendly staff. Typical Piedmontese menu, but unfortunately, in mid-September, there were no truffles yet. Perhaps I made a mistake in choosing the dishes; I was offered something off the menu: ravioli del plin al fazzoletto. This dish was presented with great anticipation, but it's simply ravioli del plin cooked in salted water (there was no broth flavor) and drained, then unseasoned and presented on a handkerchief. The tradition is fascinating, but after hours of walking, I would have liked more flavor; the filling wasn't particularly flavorful. Overall, however, a good rating.

We stayed at L’Armoatorio and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The rooms are full of charm and comfort, and the warm, welcoming team make you feel instantly at home. Breakfast was a real treat – authentic, generous, made with local ingredients, and featuring the best hazelnut chocolate spread we’ve ever tasted. We also enjoyed dinner here with a tasting menu that was absolutely outstanding. Highlights included a beautifully prepared vitello tonnato, delicate handmade pasta, melt-in-the-mouth slow-cooked meat, and a seasonal dessert that showcased Piedmont’s famous hazelnuts perfectly. Every dish was crafted with care and full of local flavor. Beyond the table, the local area is simply gorgeous – peaceful, full of character, and the perfect backdrop for such a memorable stay. A true gem we’ll happily return to again and again.

During our seven-day stay in Neive, we visited L'Aromatario twice. We made reservations each time, as anything else would probably be difficult outside of peak summer. We were very satisfied with both the service and the dishes. My wife reported that the octopus served here on hummus cream was the best she'd ever had. The dishes I enjoyed were also very good, except for the odd ratatouille, which lacked both seasoning and the typical vegetables. Otherwise: we'd happily go back anytime!

We had a wonderful lunch. We were lucky, as we hadn't booked. We got the last available table. The location and view are stunning. The dishes were refined, and the welcome was warm.

If you eat out in Piedmont often, you'll soon realize that the food is actually very good everywhere. The food at Aromatario was also very good, with imaginative recipes. However, when the wine is poured with a scoop, you know you won't be coming back. It's the generosity, warmth, and family atmosphere that characterizes Piedmont that's missing from this restaurant. Since we couldn't get a seat at a restaurant at the end of August, we decided to visit this osteria again, also because of the famously good food. Fortunately, we got a very nice table in front of the restaurant. We were extremely surprised. Regarding the quality of the food, there's nothing to add to my first review—simply world-class. But lo and behold, this time both the aperitif (Alta Langa) and the wines were presented by the bottle and poured generously. We don't know if our criticism had any effect on this. In any case, it was a perfect evening beyond reproach.
