L'Aromatario In Neive

The food here was devine. Best appetiser tasting plate we’ve had in Italy so far. Rabbit dish was excellent. Wonderful wines by the glass. Babaresco was wonderful. A shame the maître de was so unaccommodating. She would not allow me to turn my chair to face the view when clearly there was space to do so.

We were there for dinner. As always, it was very good. We can't rate the rooms.

I had dinner and slept at L’Aromatario, right in the heart of Neive, and I felt at home. The property is an old 17th-century house with a red brick facade and wonderful ivy that gives it character. The tavern has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with traditional Piedmontese cuisine creatively revisited by the chef. My room was well-kept, clean, with dark wood furniture and a view of the internal garden. Breakfast was super abundant, with homemade cakes, typical jams, fresh fruit and savory products – I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very kind and helpful, making me feel like part of the family. The wine selection (over 500 labels!) is also impressive, perfect if you love good drinking. The only small point: parking on the street can be a bit complicated, but it was worth it. Overall, a fantastic experience between history, taste and beauty of the Langhe. I would go back without thinking twice!

Very delicious food! You can see the craftsmanship behind it. We were happy to pay a few euros more for it. The service was also very attentive. Simply fantastic!

Nice food, friendly service, perfect location , only one toilet can be better

Simply splendid location, Neive, a small village perched on the Langhe, is truly worth a visit. The restaurant L'Aromatario is an excellent restaurant. Truly exquisite dishes, delicate but incisive flavours. I highly recommend it.

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, good menu choices or a la carte. The dishes are very well prepared and they look fabulous. Congrats to the chef. The wines by the glass are also excellent. Would recommend to have lunch or dinner.
