It was our first experience of haute cuisine, and we were fascinated by it. Choosing L'Argine a Vencò means having an experience that goes beyond the simple act of eating: it is a refined journey into the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, told with poetry and passion by a cuisine that is memory, research and vision.
You are welcomed into an environment that is elegant in its sobriety, where the wood, the natural light and the silence of the surrounding landscape create an intimate and contemplative atmosphere. It is a place that invites you to listen to food, time and nature.
The dining room staff moves with impeccable diligence, never intrusive but always present, with attention to detail that makes each guest feel unique and welcome. Each dish is introduced with passion and precision, and the wine pairing is handled with intelligence and delicacy.
Antonia Klugmann's cuisine is a hymn to the identity of the place. Local ingredients are transformed with respect and surprising creativity, into dishes that speak of woods, wild herbs, vegetable gardens, seasons. It is a cuisine that excites, amazes and is remembered for a long time, made of love for one's land, and combinations that are as unthinkable as they are harmonious.
I won't deny that at the beginning we were so intimidated and intrigued by these carefully crafted and amazing dishes that we exchanged rolled napkins for phyllo pastry cigars (sorry). I fell in love with the chard and celeriac parcels, two ingredients that I don't love at all, but which have been worked with so much skill to create a truly memorable dish.
Given the chance, it would be nice to return at every change of season to see how the menu changes!

Overall it was a beautiful evening with practically perfect service.
The cuisine with a few ups and downs, but in the context it can happen.

Very well executed cuisine; you have to like the vegetables that chef Klugmann plays with in an excellent way. The whole place seems to have come out of a Grimm brothers' fairy tale. One adjective: pampered

5 star review only because you can't give 10! Stunning location surrounded by nature. Beautiful place with a beautiful view of the kitchen and attentive and precise service. Excellent tasting menu from start to finish...among all the courses, we were struck by the bread-based dish for its simplicity combined with an extraordinary technique. Very happy with the experience which we recommend to everyone.

Dine with all your senses. Antonia Klugmann's unique creativity and her high level come into their own here in the rural idyll. Quietly working team in the visible show kitchen, perfect service. It's like sitting in the countryside, in the herb garden. A great experience to be pampered for almost three hours at lunchtime. It was our first time here, a very positive surprise. Hard to beat. Grace, wonderful.

Volevo mangiare qui da due anni. A parte MasterChef mi aveva intrigato assai la lettura di un libro della chef. Qui, se non sei della zona bisogna davvero volerci venire, ma l'esperienza vale il viaggio. Ogni piatto un sapore strano, un erbetta, un accostamento impensabile, ma provato e riprovato per trovare il giusto bilanciamento. Brigata giovanissima, sala molto rilassante, porcellane meravigliose. Vini in abbinamento che nel nostro caso erano tutti di territorio e molto buoni.

Tra le gli stellati, è uno dei ristoranti che preferisco per il rigore e l’essenzialità della cucina di questa formidabile chef che non cerca di andare incontro alle mode, a volte usando con dei piatti che hanno anche una amara, ma che sempre bilanciata e originale.
Era la nostra seconda volta qui, perché anche la prima volta siamo stati entusiasti
